I am deeply humbled and grateful to learn that my H-index has now reached 140. I was also honored to see that I am currently ranked among the two most-cited researchers worldwide in the fields of Urologic Oncology and Urology on Google Scholar.   In addition, my i10-index has reached 1060; that is, one thousand and sixty publications each cited at least ten times. I was told that this may represent a world record – what an extraordinary honor!   Nonetheless, these numbers are far less important than the people, mentorship, friendships, and collaborations behind them. This milestone is truly a triumph of team science. I owe immense gratitude to my mentors, colleagues, collaborators, residents, fellows, medical students, and friends who have inspired and supported me throughout this journey over the past two decades.   Academic medicine is never an individual accomplishment. It is ultimately about advancing science and medicine, educating future generations, and improving patient care. If our work has contributed even in a small way toward those goals, then I feel extraordinarily fortunate and grateful.   Thank you for being part of this journey. The best is yet to come!

⭕️ Palestinian UN ambassador drops vice presidency bid after U.S. pressure Palestinian U.N. Ambassador Riyad Mansour is withdrawing his bid for vice president of the U.N. General Assembly, NPR reported, after the U.S. threatened to revoke visas for the Palestinian delegation if he did not stand down. A State Department cable instructed U.S. diplomats in Jerusalem to warn Palestinian officials that Mansour’s candidacy “fuels tensions” and risks undermining Trump’s Gaza plan, adding: “We will hold the PA responsible if the Palestinian delegation does not withdraw its VPGA candidacy.”  The cable noted that visa sanctions previously waived for Palestinian U.N. officials could be reinstated. The Palestinian delegation relayed, through an Arab country, that Mansour would refrain from running for the next two years, in what observers described as a potential reference to the end of President Trump’s term. Lebanon’s ambassador will take his place, the U.N. said.  Mansour had previously withdrawn his candidacy for the full presidency of the General Assembly following U.S. pressure in February, according to Reuters, which obtained the State Department cable.

El párrafo C del documento oficial es asombrosamente explícito: el gobierno de EE.UU. borra el historial y "libera para siempre" a Donald Trump, a sus hijos y a sus empresas de cualquier investigación judicial, penal o fiscal, ya sea actual o futura. 2/ Prohibido investigar a los Trump. En la práctica, este blindaje de la fiscalía federal le ata las manos a la agencia tributaria (IRS). Ningún inspector del Estado podrá volver a auditar las cuentas de la corporación si la propia Casa Blanca decide etiquetar el caso bajo el cómodo comodín de "persecución política" (lawfare). 3/ El origen de la jugada. Todo este laberinto legal nace de una demanda privada que el propio Trump le puso al fisco de su país. ¿El motivo? El mandatario acusaba a funcionarios de hacienda de filtrar sus declaraciones de impuestos confidenciales a la prensa, exigiendo por ello una compensación económica astronómica. 4/ Ingeniería financiera con dinero público. Aquí viene el giro más polémico: en lugar de cobrar la indemnización directamente en sus cuentas corrientes, el acuerdo —validado por el Fiscal General en funciones Todd Blanche— desvía la friolera de 1.776 millones de dólares públicos de los contribuyentes para crear un fondo estatal. 5/ ¿Quiénes cobrarán este fondo? Oficialmente, este dinero se usará para pedir disculpas públicas e indemnizar a quienes se consideren "víctimas" de persecución en el pasado. El propio Blanche admitió ante el Congreso que aliados políticos de Trump y procesados por el asalto al Capitolio del 6 de enero podrían solicitar estas ayudas si un comité lo aprueba. 6/ Un conflicto de intereses histórico. Las alarmas de los expertos en ética y las organizaciones de transparencia han saltado por una razón muy simple: el presidente de la nación está utilizando el propio aparato de justicia del Estado para perdonarse sus deudas fiscales a sí mismo y financiar una millonaria red de compensaciones partidistas. Los datos del documento oficial demuestran que la frontera entre el patrimonio privado y los recursos del Estado se ha difuminado formalmente. Cuando el exabogado personal del presidente firma la absolución fiscal de la corporación familiar y desvía casi 1.800 millones de dólares públicos para un fondo de compensación partidista, la técnica jurídica se convierte, de suyo, en una herramienta de gestión patrimonial. La información es incontestable.

The 4-hour window between the CNN leak and Maru Campos’ video appears to be a synchronized deployment. While Harfuch’s response was a defensive, boilerplate retreat into "sovereignty" rhetoric, Campos’ message was a proactive assertion. It's likely she is positioning herself as the functional, result-oriented alternative to a federal security apparatus that the U.S. has just signaled is either compromised or incompetent. Campos’ defiance suggests she could be operating under U.S. diplomatic and security guarantees. She is now the lead actor in the "state-level defiance" strategy: a northern governor who provides the "results" Washington demands while technically adhering to a legalistic script. This creates a challenging maneuver for the Sheinbaum administration: the U.S. is delegitimizing the center (Harfuch/Morena) through controlled leaks while simultaneously bolstering regional leaders who are willing to "play ball" on security. This is the open phase of the escalation pathway we predicted. The U.S. is systematically stripping the federal government of its security monopoly. Harfuch’s reactive stance reveals a leader who has lost the initiative and potentially his "American-friendly" credentials, while Maru’s calculated "firmness" signals that the U.S. has found its viable opposition. The U.S. is signaling that if Mexico City does not deliver, Washington will find and protect someone who will by bypassing and empowering Chihuahua and other states to break Sheinbaum’s grip. The fragmentation of the Morena project is now an active operation.
