The Taliban regime has suspended the activities of the Afghanistan Chess Network, which was established on 2015 to promote chess game in #Afghanistan. Ironically, they reportedly justified the move by claiming that the “queen” piece in chess is considered “unaccompanied by a mahram.” How ridiculous these terrorists are. 🤦🏼♂️

Former Afghan military chief and former General Yasin Zia has rejected Taliban claims denying Afghan involvement in attacks against Pakistan, saying militant groups continue to operate freely from Afghan territory. Yasin Zia stated that Afghanistan has for years been used by TTP and other terrorist organizations as a safe haven for launching attacks not only against Pakistan but also against regional countries including China, Iran, and Tajikistan. He said the Taliban administration has failed to fully stop these groups from operating inside Afghanistan. According to Zia, foreign involvement and militant networks remain active in the region, while extremist groups continue targeting Chinese interests and neighboring states from Afghan soil. He claimed the Taliban are either unable or unwilling to completely dismantle these terrorist infrastructures. He further stated that Pakistan has the right to defend its national security and target terrorist camps responsible for attacks on its civilians and security forces if threats continue emerging from across the border. Yasin Zia also appealed to the Afghan people to raise their voices against terrorism and extremism, saying Afghans deserve a peaceful and stable future instead of conflict and militant operations. He pointed to recent anti-Taliban gatherings and unity seen in Panjshir Valley, urging similar peaceful movements in other parts of Afghanistan.
