In Borderlands 3, we ALL warned you guys that nerfs were necessary to keep the meta shifting and content feeling fresh, and we were insulted for suggesting it.

I wish Gearbox didn’t get so frightened of the backlash that came from weapon balancing in Borderlands 3 The meta in bl4 has been the exact same since launch, almost zero nerfs By this time in bl3 we had near weekly new metas Examples: Flakker, hex, recursion, lob, hellshock

@lil_gasmask I agree. People hate to hear it, but nerfs need to happen. If they keep balancing future difficulty around the broken meta/glitches, that will just end up with your limited options like OP levels in BL2. Nerfing a few things is much better than buffing everything for balance.

@Ki11ersix ...There's barely any official communication, almost no balance changes anymore (when there are it's just buffs) and so little endgame content.
The game would've been incredible if it recieved even a portion of BL3's post launch support. But "BL3 bad", can't have that again

@Ki11ersix I'm doing a fresh playthrough and I'm having fun. But to get that I had to edit my profile save and can't open my other saves...
Lvl 60 is great. DLC is fun but the story and C4SH should've been separate DLCs

@AncientPangolin Call me anti fun, call me crazy, but I think the highest difficulty should be difficult. If you want a power fantasy lower the difficulty or copy a good build. A gun itself shouldn't be an instant win button that invalidates the whole buildcrafting part of the game

@AncientPangolin 20 specialization points is all the Bod needs to be better than some builds. The no-nerf approach is killing the longevity and possibly all future content too
BL4 is their first game in idk how long that doesn't punish the player for playing on a lower difficulty (yet)

The proposed Bod nerf isn't a nerf. Not even a bug fix.
This so-called nerf legitimizes a bug and rebrands it as a feature (à la Bethesda)
The redditors fighting nerfs in BL4 can't form a coherent, rational argument against them. It always boils down to jUsT dOn'T uSe iT
