Extending our congratulations to William (Bill) Plunkett, PhD, who retired at the end of August as professor at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Plunkett was a faculty member of the Graduate School for many years and director of the Therapeutics and Pharmacology program, where he was instrumental in leading many changes as the program evolved and was renamed from Experimental Therapeutics. Grad School program coordinators Dawn Wolf-Taylor and Carolyn Agurcia-Parker (pictured) had the opportunity to work with him, along with many grateful students!
