@guttersniper I wouldn't worry about cork & cage, screw top, or crown. Just be sure they're individually padded (wine bags are great but so are socks or towels), and make sure to pack tightly so stuff doesn't move. I've successfully checked 500+ bottles without breakage.

Pondering putting a bottle of champagne in checked luggage. Good idea/terrible idea? Will it survive? Will my clothes?
