For all its naysayers Gutenberg is a game changer for digital news apps. Its a force multiplier for your team. We've spent the last 3 years going "all in" on block development. Here's a little thread of what's possible with the right investment into Gutenberg

At first when JoyTap joytap.app dropped in Setapp, I rolled my eyes but installed because I was curious. A month later I honestly can't imagine working without the tactile clickity clack in my headphones.

@BasicAppleGuy The Apple Polishing Cloth continues to receive updates way after its release and is both infinitely backwards and future compatible. If you're not stocking up on these with that $599 you're just lighting money on fire.

Yeah same, that spread between GPT and Opus is a little wild considering I also find Opus much better at the multi-language work that advanced WordPress projects require. GPT and Gemini do perfectly fine when they're hyper focused on one task. If you're working on a robust WP project you have to work in PHP, JS / React / Preact (iAPI) at the same time. Opus juggles that code switching better IMO. I've been finding planning with Opus and execution with Composer 1.5 to work pretty well. The better and more complete the plan of course the better execution results out of Composer.

@SethRubenstein I'm not sure I'm buying GPT 5.4 beating Opus 4.6 so cleanly... I use both and they have their flaws, but Opus is still my goto

I (and Claude), worked on a easy but big productivity booster for Quiz Builder. Sometimes our more complex quizzes get quite large and nested in block structure, and sometimes you just want to edit the wording of a question or answer and not deal with design. Enter, Quick Edit. This is my first time really getting into DataViews, what a great component system. Now, editors can filter questions and answers by point value, string search, or what page a question is in, and quickly set point values. We even have the ability to add a new page and set of question/answers.

nuclear energy is sitting right there. just sitting there. producing massive amounts of clean reliable power with a safety record better than literally every other energy source per kwh. and we're out here arguing about whether to put a solar panel on a parking garage. okay

If you're confused as to how Zuck could burn the GDP of a small country on his VR pet project that consumers didn't ask for, the market didn't ask for it, there was no signal to say this was the future and yet he still remain's CEO of Facebook... that's because corporate governance in America is a charade. It really doesn't matter if they make it so that companies only have to report twice a year or once a quarter, it's all make believe or outright lies.

Elon Musk confirmed via Telemetry Data that the woman driving the Cybertruck in this video disengaged the system four seconds before the crash. She was manually driving throughout this entire video. Don't believe everything you see/hear from Legacy Media about Tesla.

People are getting sick of this right-wing coded irreverence and self-deprecation, and the cultural backlash will demand the return of sober, serious no-nonsense professionals as social and material decline accelerates. But we may not have enough of them left. We no longer know how to be those people. The Borg prevailed. Compare these VC clowns to the pioneering greats of industry, science, and technology in the 20th century. Perhaps the real question is how serious men allowed weak and infantile men like this to claim their legacy and use it as a skin-suit for their gambling operations. A succession failure that will haunt the annals of western civilisation for generations to come.
