@LateRoundQB Yeah, I think it came across much more snarky than intended on that first one, meant it to sound more good natured

@LateRoundQB I can agree its possible NFL makes this terrible, but might be good for the NFL overall & may have similar shot of not being a big deal. Gambling is big for NFL, so can't imagine NFL wants to hurt that industry with this. Also, I'm a fan of yours, just different opinion on this.

@SethTWarren We have no idea when they'd have to hypothetically announce who's out. If it's happening during inactives, that's obviously a very huge issue for any fantasy manager! I don't know how that's debatable.

@LateRoundQB Most players don't play all 17 & would just miss a game they'd currently be out with injury. And you only have to worry once per season for each player. I can see how it might be horrible for content creators, but for the average fantasy player think we'd get used to it quickly.

@JoshNorris I feel like a lot of people are immediately against this, then look at games played and realize most guys miss one or more games every year even without this. In addition, you'd might know who is sitting in advance versus the game time decision injuries every week.

@MatthewBerryTMR @EddieEhime Underdog grossly misrepresented what you said when they aggregated your content. I find it odd that you are commenting back to the fans/individuals, but not the actual source. Why not direct this same exasperation at the account that knowingly changed your content to get clicks?

@EddieEhime On the Goedert rumor? Yes. Obviously wrong on that one. I just find it purposefully disingenuous when people are categorizing this at I reported news when it was very clearly NOT reported as anything as a rumor I heard among 34 other rumors.

Yeah. I'm not an insider. But it was a rumor I heard b/c he was supped to make $14m this yr & they didn't want to pay him. He signed a 1 yr deal for $7m. (+ a sign bonus) So yes. I thought he'd goto FA rather than take a huge pay cut after season he had. Here's the start of that column where I clearly say it's a rumor. And then read the column. I got a lot more right than wrong. nbcsports.com/nfl/matthew-be…

@BenjaminSolak I do think it’s funny how Loomis gets shade for constantly using future cap as a credit card, but Roseman gets revered as a genius for it

@AlwaysCorrectFF @SigmundBloom Weird, KC signed him to a deal with the 4th highest APY in the league even tho no one sees him as a top 5 RB. Chiefs must have said, we think this guy is the 20th best back but lets pay him double what he's worth. They probably should have given you a ring since you know best.

If you have to punt one position, running back is the obvious correct pick (and the comp pick haul makes it easier to trade up for Love if he falls out of the top 10)
Ben Winslow@BenWinslow8

@Footballguys @SigmundBloom its hard to give the seahawks an A+ when they just forgot they need a starting RB

@SigmundBloom @AlwaysCorrectFF I feel like people forget that Walker has been in the league for 4 years as a solid back, but no one thought he was a top 5 RB until the last few games of this year and the playoffs. There was even a lot of discussion in past seasons about whether Charbonnet or Walker was best.

@AlwaysCorrectFF if the offense is functioning well, wilson is competent and can do enough to keep everything on schedule until charbonnet is back and we see street FA RBs perform at league replacement level every year. that's all they need from RB. #1 seed with a poor running game last year

@MatthewBerryTMR With the way he locks onto one target, wondering is this is going to be a massive year for Jefferson but a real bad year for Addison

From this morning's #FFHappyHour we discussed what would happen if Kyler Murray signed with the Vikings. Which, of course, just happened. It's a move that makes so much sense for both sides. Borderline QB1.

@LateRoundQB @btsherrill I think chasing upside is an edge, but you can overdo that and it happens a lot during the draft & training camp by fantasy analysts. For some reason people forget reward & risk go up and down together.

@btsherrill Nah there's actually an edge in not preferring a player who had 20 catches in 5 collegiate seasons and 6 in 3 NFL seasons. Somehow people still play fantasy football for their drafted RB45 to finish as the RB30 and it's absolutely wild to me.

@MikeDugar @nickkorte Do you think they'll use any of the extra draft capital to try and add a couple picks to the 2026 draft? I'm sure Schneider will deal down to pick up some, but wondering if they are okay with fewer picks in a year when the draft might not have a ton of depth to it.

Latest Seahawks 2027 compensatory pick projection/potential, via @nickkorte: Boye Mafe (3yrs/60M) — 4th round Ken Walker III (3yrs/45M) — 5th round Coby Bryant (3yrs/40M) — 5th round Riq Woolen (1yr/12M base) — 5th round

@nickkorte Does a one year term for $15M get less value toward a comp pick than a 3 year deal with a $15M APY?

I'm going to hold off on projecting a precise round for Tariq Woolen's contract right now due to early reports containing the "up to" weasel words, but it will move a 2027 compensatory pick away from the Eagles and to the Seahawks.

@BenjaminSolak I would love to know how GM's actually value these pick swaps, like is a 2028 6th for a 2028 7th worth more than just getting a 2026 7th? Is one GM ready to blow up the deal to get that 6th vs a 7th?

@MikeDugar Dang, was hoping they could keep one of him or Coby. Guessing that pick 32 or whatever Schneider trades down to is going to be edge or CB.

@Ballknower0825 @MikeDugar That is for 2026 draft, which is based on 2025 free agency period. The losses in free agency this year may yield comp picks for the 2027 draft, assuming the hawks do lose some top FA's.

@MikeDugar I feel like a fun offseason piece might be how all the coaches work together, now that staffs can have 20 or 30 or more guys. Just on offense you'd have HC, OC, coach for each position, pass game coordinator, run game coordinator, OL coach, strength & conditioning, etc.

@AlbertBreer The world is made for people under 6 feet tall and this argument divides people right at that line. All the shorties are indignant cause they can't imagine it being an issue, the same way I can't imagine what its like to not reach the top shelf at the grocery store.
