The reality is that consistency is boring. A lot of traders catch a few quick, big wins early on and instead of learning, they take it as confirmation that they “figured it out.” That they’re profitable now. So they stop studying. They stop respecting risk. Their ego takes over. They start thinking every position will just instantly pay… and when it doesn’t, they don’t know how to handle losses because they never built that discipline.
