@PkHarveyfarm @farmerschneck @Agridome @globeandmail 50 yrs ago lots of families fed off that government beef. Lots were hungry…not so much today.
English

@farmerschneck @Agridome @globeandmail A farmer we know called used to call them government beef .
He served government beef when we came for a meal.
English

The current population is estimated to be over 30 million
How far do deer go in a year? These scientists are tracking the ultimate border crossers /via @globeandmail theglobeandmail.com/canada/science…

@WeigelDrainage Awesome. Quite the effort, nice to see an old barn saved. Be sure and post some after pics.

@MvanbommelMikes @JimboPopowich I think Jimbos been a little heavy into the BC weed and mushrooms and can’t see or doesn’t understand the difference between a full size sidexside and a child’s toy.
English

@JimboPopowich @SflJim I have grandkids and they do the same. We have them outdoors and having fun and learning new things. This isn’t new. We did it as kids , my kids did it and now my grandkids. They grow up to be hardworking adults instead of sitting in front of a tv or IPad.
English

@JimboPopowich @MvanbommelMikes Yep I do…and I’m talking to him. Have a nice day.
English

@SflJim @MvanbommelMikes The dangerous part is you don’t recognize stupid.
English

@MvanbommelMikes @JimboPopowich Hey Jimbo….Really..a kids electric toy for the yard? You think that’s dangerous…stop by sometime I’ll show you dangerous. Idiot.
English

@JimboPopowich @SflJim If you recognize stupid , then why’d you make a stupid comment?

@MaizeingPete @KeithWells6 I always said it’s not hard to appreciate equipment today. 50+ yrs ago ran an open station w heat houser and snow suit windy and cold. Snow or rain. Was that or 98 deg and so much dust. Last 30 yrs been pretty darn nice.
English

@KeithWells6 Gen Z rekt if they had run a round cab Deere 😂🤷♂️

Mr 88 talking about his early years this afternoon. Hauling 6 to 8 cans of milk to cheese factory everyday by horse 2 miles. Hauling 20 bags of oats 3 miles with a team to feed mill to get ground. Carrying 100 lb bags of layer mash to second story of chicken barn. Water pumped by hand and carried up as well. Hauling firewood 3 miles to town by horse. Sold for $3 a cord.

@FarmerChris13 I have a little 570 Polaris w power steering. Same reasoning, able to take youngest and dog along. It’s pretty decent but seems kinda cheaply made. I hear great reviews from Yamaha and can am as well. $pendy toys though..you don’t get much for almost $20 G.

@AdamJPfeffer @LMcLachlan60 @woody_VA If you open the link to listing you can scroll through and see pics. Very shallow muddy area in front. Grows up in phragmites …some locals have dredged canals to get out into the lake in those areas. Lk Huron is beautiful, I’ve lived next to it forever. Just not pretty there.

This isn't going to pencil out without some creative development along the lake front

@SCarruthersr No..lots of options though. He knows everyone..small town.
English

@SflJim Beautiful pictures Jim.
Does Rugged Edge have their own lodging for guest?
English

@DeanPat57613010 It’s a nice machine..we didn’t get off trail much today. A lot of ungroomed logging rds though…gave the suspension a real workout.
English

@SCarruthersr Good plan..nothing can beat 8000 ft elevation and 15 ft of dry snow like you find in the Rockies…but this is equally impressive. Very remote areas, some navigation skills sure helps. Trails are generally not as perfect smooth as Quebec..great way to explore Nfld.
English

@SflJim You have me thinking now Jim. Have a friend that wants me to go to Yellowstone/lsland Park but NFLD has me more interested now.
Studying maps last night. Road trip and knock the Fundy Hyland, NB; Cape Breton NS and NFLD off the bucket list.
English

@tuliplaneltd We flew in and rented..Craig from @ruggededge in Corner Brook set us up. Top notch equipment and good guys. Craig personally rode w us and showed us around. Huge off trail areas to ride. The area between Corner Brook and Stephenville on the west coast is massive.
English

@SteveMcCabe73 It’s a 146 skid, same as my Backcountry..ideal for this kind of riding 👍
