@ruku_rcu @_Shorono_ No. It is an insane, unpayable price. Piracy is not theft, because it isn't ripping someone of their property, and the devs don't even profit from it anymore. Im sure they would be thankful someone wants to experience their creation in any way. Art should remain available

@_Shorono_ プレミア付いたゲーム買えないよ！って気持ちは理解出来るよ。 それでも欲しいゲームが13万円するからといってネット上に広がってる無断コピー品をDLするのは納得できないのよね… その13万円は当時の現物を大切に保管してた維持費が上乗せされてるとか考えない？

When the pandemic started i pirated the PS3 Hyperdimension neptunia games (wich are expensive second hand). I liked them so much i started supporting the devs as soon as i had a PC to play the new releases

これは例えば電車を使ってたら、その電車を廃線にする時は、利用者全員に自転車を提供するか、それまで支払った乗車費用を全額払い戻せという意味になる、とんでもない法律と思う。これ、ゲームに限らずオンラインメディア全てに共通する話だよね。オンラインコミックとか。

これ最高に頭悪い画像だよな 売ってくれない事は海賊版を全くもって正当化出来ないし、売る売らないは法的に何も問題なく海賊版は犯罪。 「だって売ってくれないんだもん」で犯罪がまかり通る国なんか？ 絶版や限定品を窃盗しても捕まらなそう。 売ってくれなきゃ海賊するぞはただの脅迫でしか無い。

これは一見ゲームのプレーヤー側に優しいように見せかけて、「オンライン専用ゲームのオフライン化」というでかいハードルを越えられないゲームを作れなくすることで、ゲームの作り手もプレーヤーも損をする法案ですね。 もし通ったら「カリフォルニア州では配信しない」が最適解になりそう。

@suisaiganokuni @Ramatabi444 @rcharios2 I'd argue the opposite. Thanks to piracy, a lot of people got to enjoy things they otherwise wouldn't have, and this lead to then supporting the creators. Without piracy, a lot of games and anime would'nt have found success outside of japan, and would not be as successful now
