@elonmusk I think you should consider that making X a global totem pole for Free Speech, and then turning it into a death star laser for coordinated hate sessions, is actually harmful for the cause of free speech. I'm seriously worried that huge backlashes against values I hold dear are coming in a few years' time.

Today is a big moment. I'm very excited to announce our launch (along with fully open source release of the code) of v1 of the Naptha Stack. This is something we’ve been building towards for years. AGI won't be a monolith. We believe it will be a network of intelligent agents with heterogeneous models, architectures and data that adapt, compete and cooperate across many use cases. However, it's difficult to build such systems today because: 1. Agent and multi-agent frameworks built by different groups don’t interoperate. There are few standards for agent interactions. 2. Open Source Models use a variety of standards: Format for tool calling and reasoning, and adherence to structured output, vary depending on the model. 3. Scaling multi-agent orchestration across a network of nodes is an unsolved problem. The Naptha Stack solves this. Naptha is a framework and infrastructure for developing and running multi-agent systems at scale with heterogeneous models, architectures and data. Agents and other modules can run on separate devices, while still interacting over the network. This is a new type of platform that will enable new types of multi-agent applications, and we can't wait to see what AI engineers and researchers build. Come help us is to reimagine the internet. It would seem like there is, however, if you follow out the implications of Wigner's Friend paradox and the basic operating principles of quantum mechanics you're forced to choose between two things but can't have both at the same time: - either no objective reality exists for all observers, OR - things outside your light cone can affect you Pick One. There is a great paper written that explains this here: arxiv.org/abs/2409.15302

There is no objective reality. The laws of physics you measure depend on the nature of the observer. Now, humans are comparable enough we agree on a set of common laws. But the edge cases, not necessarily so. There are physical phenomenon that only occur if you believe in them

my favorite genre of tweet are american conservatives who bleat about "white culture" and "tradition" constantly who then shreik satanism when they see what is genuine white culture and tradition. it's all aesthetics to these people

הרבה ממה שדוד חושב ש"טוב" לישראל אני חושב שרע. אבל יש עוד שיקול שאולי ידבר לפיד ימין: הבן אדם ניסה להפיל את המשטר הדמוקרטי האמריקאי והוא עד היום לא מוכן להודות שהפסיד ב-2020. מדיניות בצד, זה בן אדם מסוכן לדמוקרטיה האמריקאית, שלדעתי היא מקור חוזקה ובלעדיה, תפסיק להיות אימפריה.

@antirival Unlike in other countries, an ID is not required in the US. There is no federal ID. Usually, the only ID people get is a driver's license or a passport. You can pay for an ID card if you want.

I’m not on either side. Can someone on the democratic side explain the reasoning of not requiring an ID for voting? I’m trying to understand that side of the debate. As said, I’m not on either side at this moment.
