Today marks a significant step in our ongoing legal battle for justice and fundamental human rights. During today's proceedings at the Balochistan High Court (BHC), official notices were issued regarding the appeals we have filed. These appeals directly challenge the unjust life sentences imposed on my sister, Dr. Mahrang Baloch, and Sibghatullah Shahji for their unwavering peaceful advocacy for human rights in Balochistan. We were deeply encouraged by the presence of Mohsin Dawar, who attended the BHC proceedings today in a show of solidarity. I want to extend my deepest and most respectful gratitude to him for standing with us. His presence is a support for us and a reminder that we are not alone in this struggle. In a concurrent development, the Supreme Court of Pakistan has also taken up the matter of the detained Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) leaders. The Supreme Court has formally issued notices concerning three separate bail petitions filed on behalf of Dr. Mahrang Baloch, Beebagr Baloch, and Beebow Baloch. We look to the higher judiciary to deliver true justice in this case, which is absolutely essential to maintaining and restoring the public’s trust in this legal system. #ReleaseBYCLeaders
