I’m astonished that even Labour’s coup against their leader is turning into a shambolic, embarrassing farce full of dithering, timidity, U-turns, and broken promises. So unlike them!

I think it’s now the time to seriously investigate who @Keir_Starmer is serving - clearly it isn’t the British public.

This is not a game. This instability has consequences for people’s lives. The people who will be hurt most will be those that elected us less than two years ago. We must unite behind the Prime Minister.
Paul Johnson@PJTheEconomist

Starmer and Reeves are not kidding when they say this political uncertainty causes economic damage. The only “reset” being achieved at the moment is higher borrowing costs. Result? We’re all worse off. So deeply depressing.

Hi @Keir_Starmer, don't let the bastards push you out. Call a snap election. You're super popular, the best Prime Minister we've ever had, You're the sun of a toolmaker and you know you can win this Comrade. Do us all a favour and call that general election.

Bristol’s old Mayor, Henry Michallat with its new Mayor, Yassin Mohamud, a Green councillor who was born in Somalia and moved to the UK around 20 years ago. Mohamud says his focus will be refugees and “the deprived areas where they live.” And I honestly think this is the moment a lot of Green voters are starting to realise the party they thought they were voting for is not the party they’re actually getting. Many people backed the Greens believing it was mainly about the environment, protecting green spaces, cleaner streets and net zero. But more and more voters now feel the party’s real focus is mass migration, housing pressures and redirecting already stretched resources towards people arriving from elsewhere. That’s why frustration is growing so quickly across parts of the country. I suppose not being from this country why would he be interested in what British citizens and his constituents want and only be interested in immigrants and foreign interests. Do you think Green voters knew this is what they were voting for?

So the rumours now are that David Lammy could enter the Labour leadership race if Keir Starmer falls. What’s your reaction?

The very worst Prime Minister, of the very worst Government. Starmer has disgraced the office, and history will remember him as such. Resign.
