@BillyTheToilet @WeedleTwineedle Still not that busted though, there’s ways to bypass Wonder Guard, like poison, spikes, sandstorm, etc. The issue with doing this with a Porygon2 is it has a lot more than 1 HP… and recover. Nothing is really taking that down aside from… Zygarde’s signature move, I think?

@WeedleTwineedle Its also possible Air Balloon Electric Tera Shedinja could run rampant if it was in.

Gamefreak saw this and said Shedinja will not be returning in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet 😭

Then go play a different JRPG. I love time management in games and not a lot of games actually use it, so like… don’t remove core mechanics from the scant games that use them. Just pick up the other 99% of JRPGs if you don’t like it.

@Pirate_Cove_Man @AS_12239 @grantkirkhope Nintendo owns anything Donkey Kong related. DKC has been available on every console since Wii, even though Microsoft wasn’t letting Nintendo touch Rare properties during that time.

@AS_12239 @grantkirkhope They already have Donkey Kong Country 1. I'm sure they needed to negotiate with Microsoft at least a tiny bit to make that one work, so DK64 is totally possible

I was thinking about the new Nintendo music app, the only things of mine that they own are DK64 and the track I did for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, but I doubt they’d include any of those

@downrightdpad @David_Wise That is the holy grail of DKC2, I’ll agree. Might have to pull up YouTube to listen again, the cravings are hitting.

@downrightdpad @David_Wise More positive response: DKC was the first soundtrack I listened to with this app. I do hope DKC2 gets added soon. David Wise somehow upped his game for the sequel and it already was stellar in the original DKC (Treetop Rock still hits so hard).

@downrightdpad @David_Wise Was hoping they’d credit him in the DVD release but nope. They had a chance to fix things. Always a reminder that these big corporations are nobody’s friend.

@downrightdpad @David_Wise Kirkhope was pretty crushed about it publicly too. He’s active on social media so I tagged him in a message thanking him for writing it (he reacted to it, he reads all those messages). He got petty change as compensation for the Mario Movie and it was sickening.
