So if Spurs win tomorrow, that's us relegated. After that corrupt game, just send us down. VAR has honestly killed this sport. It will feel strange actually being able to celebrate a goal next season without the stress of it being ruled out for a foul 2 minutes before ⚒️

Will Arsenal be worthy champions if they get over the line? There is plenty of criticism of Arsenal's football, the set-piece arts/dark arts, the antics of Arteta in the technical area, and triumphalism of some fans such as the one with that presumptuous “champions” shirt. Throw in the usual club tribalism and that season-defining VAR decision (correct call but officials inconsistent in punishing grappling this season) and there’s plenty of antipathy towards Arsenal. But it is a truism universally acknowledged that the team that finish top first are worthy champions. It’s a marathon of 38 sprints and Arsenal have demonstrated the required ability, character and stamina. They have had their mentality questioned all season (and before). From Raya to Rice, Gabriel to Gyokeres, all of the squad have shown resilience. Battlers, not bottlers. Rice in particular embodies their will to win. It’s good to see a club keeping faith in a talented manager during the near-misses; keeping financial balance (top with fourth largest wage bill); and building a squad so that hugely capable players can come off the bench and make a big difference as Odegaard did against West Ham. And isn’t it more refreshing to see a range of champions (if they do hold on)? Five different clubs have been champions since Arsenal in 2004. It’s also important to see a club committed to their academy, creating a pathway for Saka, Lewis-Skelly, Dowman and others, and giving them a chance to shine; it’s good for sustainability, culture and connection with fans. It’s encouraging to see a club working with fans to improve atmosphere (tifos, coach greets).  Off-field, too. All clubs have vital community departments; Arsenal in the Community is widely acknowledged as the oldest and one of the most impactful at home and abroad with around 100 full-time and part-time staff. There is much good about Arsenal. If they do hold on, Arsenal will be worthy champions on and off the pitch. #AFC

Arsenal have won the PL with the help from VAR! This is a tainted title. Disgraceful decision.

For 2 weeks, they teased Danhausen’s mystery partner and it turned out to be a mini clone of Danhausen. I ain’t gonna lie, this was underwhelming. #WWEBacklash

@cfc_ar1905 From a club that had Blue is the colour” as their song, probably long before you supported them when they were the laughing stock of football

Civil servant here. If Farage wins the next GE, he'll call us all back to the office 5 days a week. The CS will then be on the verge of collapse, as thousands of people will either retire immediately or quit, due to the removal of WFH. Cheap optics will meet reality.

No matter what they say, Reform UK will only let down the working class. They voted against our better deal for workers. With your support, we got it done. Only Labour will work for working people. Vote Labour 🌹

Arsenal’s route to the final is insane. They’ve been playing Europa League football the whole way through ffs 🤣 Bilbao Atletico Olympiacos Club Brugge Slavia Praha Kairat Almaty Leverkusen Sporting Atletico A rude awakening likely awaits them against a proper side.

Does honesty pay? Haaland could have reacted theatrically to Gabriel and got him sent off, and a 3-match ban. Arsenal have cover but Gabriel would have been a loss. Haaland is honest. Stayed on his feet. PL Key Match Incidents panel says Gabriel should have got red not yellow 1/2

It was fun to laugh at Arsenal coming 2nd a lot but now they’ve all but done it let’s be honest, they do it the right way, they don’t have 115 charges looming over their heads for literally cheating the sport. Proper club, fair play. Enjoy your title.

Without a doubt, the worst season of all time. The worst quality of football the Premier League has ever seen, countless boring games, terrible football, a severe lack of quality. It’s the most forgettable season ever and no one will remember this Arsenal title win

@DanielJMath1 It’s not even up for debate. It’s South of the Tweed. There is no definition of Scotland that puts that Asda within Scotland. You’re just making an arsehole of yourself at this point.
