@capcom_official Could have been fun, but was a bit too generic and lacking story
English

@Variety Screw Nolan, let's all get behind this. It looks cooler and it's shorter runtime too!

An AI-generated film adaptation of "The Odyssey" has been announced.
“Odysseus: The Fall” is a 135-minute AI-generated movie from AI film studio Fountain 0 and director Ash Koosha. The movie will be available to rent or buy on Fountain 0’s website later this summer.
“I’ve been just obsessed with it since I was a kid,” Koosha said in an interview. “One of the things that really drove me towards this story was the character of Odysseus himself, and my take on it — the feeling that I’ve had over the years reading different takes on it, and different translations — and my take was something that I just wanted to tell. And recently, when we did the first film, I realized this is the best time given the public discourse that exists out there as well.”

@GKMasterson @PhilipProudfoot So you are staying superficial and ignorant.
Great use of AI, that still doesn't answer any of the questions.
Please tell me the place where we store the waste, till it's not dangerous anymore.
Btw. Humanity has never build anything that lasted this long.
English

Yes, I understand how Google is incredibly difficult to use.
97% of the fuel rods can be recycled and reused. Most of the scary garbage cited is the aprons and work gloves, not the fuel rods.
Look, if you just want to reduce the global population by a large percentage and undo industrialization, just be honest about it. I would rather advance our civilization and get completely off petroleum quickly so we can tell the entire Middle East to pound sand. Nuclear gets us there faster and more reliably than solar and wind without requiring we crash our economy and population numbers.
Nuclear also doesn’t reduce the amount of arable land we can use for food production at the rates solar and wind need to match the output we need if we don’t want economic and population decline.

English

@GKMasterson @PhilipProudfoot Funny how we got advanced and still no answers or implemented these solutions.
We still have pollution when we gain the resources and we still have problems with the waste. We can recycle some, but we have no way to store it definitively.
You didn't answer anything.
English

@ShadowJaken @PhilipProudfoot Have you missed the advances in the past 40 years? Those have all been asked and answered.
Take your NIMBYism and BANANAism elsewhere.
English

@GKMasterson @PhilipProudfoot Where do you put the waste?
Where do you get the stuff in a clean manner?
How do you protect the waste from attacks?
How do you protect the plants?
Etc.
Sorry, but the world is way too volatile at the moment
English

Because solar and wind don’t scale.
Nuclear, however, does.
I would love to see the entire First World switch to nuclear and build hundreds more nuclear power plants, switch to EVs for consumer cars and start researching ways to make a similar switch for semis for long haul trucks.
But, for some reason, the Green New Deal would rather tank the entire economy, cause the global population to shrink by 25%, while letting China and India burn all the petroleum they want

English

@OTQD3 @AlanJ_Robinson @PhilipProudfoot Doesn't matter. Everyone needs to reduce, creating a standard that everyone can adapt.
English

@AlanJ_Robinson @PhilipProudfoot How much does Canada even contribute to estimated CO2 output globally?
English

@AlanJ_Robinson @PhilipProudfoot Ah the classic false dilemma.
1. you rather keep taxpayers money in bad old tech, instead of better and cleaner.
2. If you think, upgrading is bad, it's a weird take.
3. Getting people to take responsibility is also bad? Weird
4. Not Canada, everyone. You think small
English

There's nothing wrong with a green transition. Its using massive taxpayer dollars and forcing it that's the problem. Also, over-taxing and attacking traditional energy hurts revenue and drives companies out of the country, hurting good paying jobs.
Incentives are fine, if they end up in the right place and helping. Often they are just filling the pockets of government cronies.
Also, NOTHING Canada does will affect global CO2. Absolutely nothing. So damaging our economy to fight against the climate is just spitting into the wind.
English

@TriciaD11cat @PhilipProudfoot After the last ice age (circa 20,000 years ago) the earth’s temperature rose by about 4-7 degrees -over a period of 10,000 years. There has never been such a change in temperature over such a short period of time.
English

@TriciaD11cat @GordonFbpe @PhilipProudfoot We did and it's on the level of a natural disasters.
As we don't have one like a meteor or a volcano, the only difference is humans and their technology at the moment
English

@gavinmoolman @PhilipProudfoot So you rather have subsidies thrown to bad and old tech?
Why?
Because that's what is happening now and keeping everything back
English

@PhilipProudfoot I have no issue with new technology, particularly if good for the economy. Just very much against heavy subsidies being thrown at them.
English

@WARMasterBM @PicturesFoIder No, it's not. There is no correlation at all.
Congrats, I just woke up and that's already the dumbest I will read today
English

@PicturesFoIder This is (one reason) why autism rates are sky rocketing by the way.
English

@RetroTV422659 @IdiotGodThing @IfindRetards Not my buddy, so should be judged.
However, that's not what you want or think, you are superficial
English

@ShadowJaken @IdiotGodThing @IfindRetards Your buddy Tim pardoned a pedo, but you couldn't give less of a shit. Plus, MAGA doesn't even have a dedicated flag, fucking moron.
English

@TheLLMNote I don't want that in The Odyssey. I want to watch it as a warrior movie.

Deutsch

@bren_mcguire @awholenewstory Es waren nicht nur 30°C
Wir gingen höher
Deutsch

Zuviel Luftfeuchtigkeit
Deutsch

@cattus_123 Und was ist mit den 18 Grad letzte Woche? Findest du das normal im Juli?
Deutsch

@mxlxhx_ Hilft es, wenn ich "Sorry." schreibe?
