It takes something special to make this Chelsea team look good, but Liverpool are somehow managing it.

As a legal immigrant, I’m not panicking. Not because I don’t see the nonsense @reformparty_uk is pushing around immigration. I do. They’ve talked about scrapping ILR, tightening visas, restricting benefits for foreign nationals, and putting “British workers first.” Looks good on paper. But Farage should also be smart enough to know one thing: Legal immigrants are holding up many sectors in this country. NHS. Social care. Hospitality. Logistics. Universities. Construction. Care homes. Remove them recklessly and Britain will feel it by Monday morning. The people who should be worried are not just immigrants. It is also British workers who voted Reform because they thought the whole conversation was only about skin colour and boats. Because Reform’s policy language goes beyond immigration. They are talking about a leaner civil service, cutting “waste,” removing underperforming workers, and Farage has openly attacked working from home culture. So if you are a British national working comfortably from home, you should be worried too. If you are a low-income family with more than two children, you should be worried too. If your small business suffered because of Brexit red tape, you should be worried too. Research from the Federation of Small Businesses says many UK firms have been pushed out of EU markets because of rising costs and bureaucracy after Brexit If your cost of living exploded after Brexit, you should be worried too. Multiple studies linked Brexit to higher food prices, inflation and rising household costs. If the demographics of your city changed after Brexit because employers had to recruit workers from outside Europe to fill shortages, you should be worried too. If you are happy that the UK 🇬🇧 agreed to rejoin the Erasmus+ programme from 2027 meaning students, apprentices and young people will once again have easier access to study, training and exchange opportunities across Europe, you should be worried too. Because 2029 is likely going to be Brexit 2.0 This is why people need to read policies, not just clap for slogans and great speeches. Because sometimes the policy you support to “deal with immigrants” may end up knocking on your own door first. #UnbotheredImmigrant
Slimfit@iSlimfit

As immigrants, we should be very worried seeing Reform dominate the local council election results so far. What this could mean for the future of immigrants in the UK is concerning. With just a few years until the next General Election, hopefully the tide can still be turned.

The UK voted the Tories out of office with a vengeance after more than a decade of mismanagement, corruption and scandals, so naturally the UK then opts to vote them all back into power again, under a different name, alongside the architect of the UKs decline via Brexit. FFS.

British people actually need to fight for Britain. And that actually means fighting against your compromised government. Not immigrants. Not each other. Your government. They are literally invested in your suffering. Literally.
