The loss of Destiny is something to me that feels incomprehensible and that I genuinely don't think I will be able to process for some time. I can't describe how disappointing it is to see a franchise I loved and was passionate about go out this way. Destiny deserved better.

@GrittyGamingGG When teams are near that POI, it goes off. I think it just helps you identify if a team is already there? Possibly.

@OlManMakowski Not against it but idk if this defeats the purpose of the game I get trying to bring in more players but the player base would be so split that load times and facing the same teams could be a problem. Lite modes, duo modes, pve only modes and PvP only modes is d2 but in marathon

Marathon is teasing a PVE and PVP only mode. 👀 Love the idea of making Marathon more friendly to casual players (PVE), while also appealing to the Destiny/Halo crowd that loves fast paced arena action. What do you think?

Yes I have tons of Destiny followers but I’m convinced large chunks if not the majority of Marathon players are either current or former Destiny players so

Just curious, if Marathon season 2 and Destiny Shadow and Order or whatever it’s called now drop in the same week, which would you prioritize?

@PorkPoncho THE BEST is free kits to wiping the lobby and becoming hero on dire. Sooooo rewarding. Also got another prestige bully from a prior run. Such an amazing game.

I said this shortly after launch but now I’m close to 400 hours in game I want to reaffirm it. Marathon is legitimately the best multiplayer FPS since Titanfall 2 and if you’re even slightly curious about it you honestly owe it to yourself to give it a go once season 2 launches next month. Ignore the crybabies and chart watchers who haven’t put a minute into the full release and just give it a genuinely honest try and you won’t be disappointed. ❤️

@CoolGuyGames I’ve brought my gold BR into a couple games, thankfully I still have it but it’s one of the best I’ve been able to touch so far. 2nd is the Scar for me, no heat build and tracking is amazing. Unfortunately I lost that one

Almost done with my BR volley guide. I have a lot of things in it that will take your BR game to another level. I also believe the gold mod is the best mod in the game. Bully/mizzy might be the most *lethal*, but the BR is the best to me. Lots to talk about soon

@Invicta_D2 It’s a break from hardcore games and it’s refreshing. Like who can find a sniper or shield first and push teams. It’s no love lost and just fun.

The number of comments on this celebrating or begging for the sponsor kit queue to be permanent is highly concerning. Do people really prefer playing a worse BR, or is the average person's gear fear just that crippling? I really don't understand, what is the appeal here?

There’s a form of MM in Marathon that I’m almost certain is baked into the game. Key Based Matchmaking. Ran 16 keys this week - 13 of which we heard key room opened or took down a team with one. That’s an 81% likelihood ‼️ Have you noticed this in your games too?

So this happened today after we told him we were here to do the single run contract. WARNING - SLURS USED - immediate ban right guys? There wasn’t an option in game to report this @MarathonDevTeam @MarathonTheGame @Ziegler_Dev

You know that rumor in Marathon that's getting around? The one affecting your matches? The one we both know? I can't really comment too much on specifics but you really should sell everything your vault. There's a patch coming that's going to make things different, too. You might not like this kind of different. You can sell all of your vault items. Something is coming and you need to he ready for it.

@TooDiffizzle @DrewskysChannel I didn’t even jump into cyro because I heard it was so bad but even everything else was ROUGH. Feel like it changed mid week or something. Or the minute cyro went live.

@DrewskysChannel I think ultimately we need Bungie to be very transparent about what is happening in regards to the matchmaking because for anyone that has been playing the game since launch it is very clear something has changed. It's genuinely ruining the game for a lot of people.

I love and play Marathon more than most that I know, however this week has really burnt me out. Should things not improve Tuesday I feel I'm left with the painful decision to stop putting in as much playtime. I understand there is a bug that is contributing to this, however I fear that Level-Based Matchmaking in combination with the Free Kit Queue is resulting in what feels like incredibly small player pools. Whether its Cryo or Marsh, I'm constantly matchmaking names I know. Things are no longer unpredictable, there isn't any more excitement to the unknown. Queue times are long and drawn out. Some players queuing in with pre-made teams. I'm often faced with full end-game top teams repeatedly, regardless of if I'm loading in with Green reinforced shields for an eco run (I frequently use credits/armory builds), or a Gold loadout. I'm frequently running into familiar faces that b/c we can see its them (no streamer mode/anonymity), play differently or are all inclined to be friendly out of respect - I'm sure many players (myself included) play differently based on names they might see. This is dismantling my enjoyment of high highs and low lows, and hindering the gameplay loop for me. I'm someone who doesn't burn out of what I love - and I've been having such a phenomenal time with the community. However its hard not to get exhausted and worn out with this experience, especially with some folks skewing my words back at me about it.
