Hasan Piker does make Democrats' lives more difficult. Not because of perceived antisemitism though, but because he forces them to take stances that, while popular with average people, would jeopardize their Israeli and corporate money.

I like Sam, but Sam is 60 years old. He's completely irrelevant to a large group of potential voters. This is the equivalent to telling Obama not to get on social media in the lead up to 08, and instead, do a two hour sit down with Tom Brokaw.

I don't think that many of the consultants/pundits giving Democrats advice actually went out and canvassed in 2024. One woman told me, in Pittsburgh, "I don't want ANYTHING to do with ANY of it." The 2020 voters who slumped off in 2024 are essentially that woman.

Democrats want someone who can be an on-ramp into voting for democrats; someone who provides a permission structure for people who are not reached by normal political methods. Gentle nudges in our direction: “Hey guys Biden is cool” “Did you see this thing Biden did, that’s pretty dope” “Kamala is cool in my book guys, you should vote for her” He explicitly does not do that, and did not do that when it could’ve helped. Hasan’s relationship and view of the party rests in a permanent negative state of constant criticism. Also he doesn’t like America and doesn’t even try to pretend to. Add all that up and he simply isn’t what we’re looking for and it’s way too late for him to try to become that. He’s already failed several times over. The answer is no.
