There is no reason on earth why you all should let him do this because wtf

Lord Charizard@LordCharizard33
I’m by no means a financial expert… but it has come to our attention that a secret Pikachu is in the background of the new Bulbasaur 30th anniversary promo card. I would definitely buy one now because it’s going to be a $200 card soon. 📈📈📈
English

@Keith16King The reason Pokémon releases new sets so quickly is because people have short attention spans. Everyone is so excited for a new set for about 1 or 2 weeks, then they're bored and ready for the next set.
English

Scalpers making Pokemon unavailable for regular human collectors. It's getting old fast. It also seems like there's new Pokemon releases every month.
Card Purchaser@CardPurchaser
What's your biggest pet peeve in the hobby right now?
English

@PokeTeeJay It would really be funny if all the sets up until the 30th weren't that good. Then 30th isn't that good either. All this hype for no one to be that hyped for the 30th. Doubt it happens tho
English

@texasallstar214 @Kramaramb Look at tcgplayer. The lowest listed from a verified seller is 9.90. I'm just talking about the regular one, not Pokémon Center.
English

@ShaggyCollects @Kramaramb It’s always hovered at 40/50. Regular sits at like $6
English

@PokeTeeJay It's definitely the worst time ever. I got back in the hobby around April 2024. I wouldn't have half the cards I have now if I didn't get back into collecting until after Prismatic.
English

Admittedly, I only got back into Pokémon around Covid time after collecting in 2000 like everybody else. Therefore I basically missed 2002-2020. People say the market fluctuates and there’s crazy times and not crazy times, but this HAS GOTTA BE the absolute WORST time in Pokémon collecting, no?
English

@gioteamr So many people over leverage themselves and think Pokémon only goes up. I don't know if there will be a crash, but eventually, a lot of people will flee the hobby when they can't make those crazy profits.
English

Every "end of an era" has its own trigger. The Pokemon bear market will be caused by accumulating credit card interest rates.
Monthly interest payments will start eating future profits, and those who struggle with math and money management will have to dump products onto the market just to keep up with their payments.
Pikachu will smile again.

@PokeTeeJay @Walmart I can't wait for the day that msrp is a scam for Pokémon cards again. These big box stores that just feed the bots will be begging us to buy Pokémon cards from them. It'll probably be a few more years until that happens, but I'm ready for it.
English

If @Walmart somehow fixed the bot problem, they’d still sell out of all of these Pokémon products, but the only difference is that it would be to real people.
I know they don’t care who it’s selling to as long as it’s sold, but it’s not like this is the only way they’d be making money
They have to do better by their customers and fix this
English

@MsSavageAF Gengar is my favorite Pokémon. My target still has theirs. I thought about asking if I could have it when they're done with it because it would be a unique display piece. As a grown man, I could not bring myself to ask. Makes me wonder about these other people lol
English

This has to be a joke right? Like there’s no way the pokemon community has become this bad?!!!
Dexerto@Dexerto
Pokémon scalpers are now selling displays from the Target collab Some cutouts have even sold for up to $900
English

@Kramaramb It sounds interesting. GameStop is only still around because they are a meme. My expectations are low.
English

Imagine for a second:
Gamestop acquires Ebay
ESUS envelopes now travel through gamestop's existing national distribution network.
No more post office.
No more mail theft.
More reliable tracking.
You can pick up and drop off at your local gamestop (or partner location)

@HyperbeamTCG This happens almost every day. Some card or sealed items constantly get manipulated in hopes of someone panic buying or selling. It's just annoying at this point.
English

@KabutoKing_ True but who needs that many charizards? Lol
King Gary I guess 🤣
English

@ShaggyCollects Definitely above market as of now. But if you held for 10-20 years this would look like a genius purchase.
English

Every couple of months Gary Haase raises the price to keep up with the market. I’m surprised a fund hasn’t bought this yet.
His asking price will be 100 million in a few years. I wonder why he even has it listed for sale. Seems like such a big part of his legacy. Money isn’t worth losing this.

English

@EduMock Yeah, they're probably going into massive debt to try to make this happen. I hope it doesn't. They will ruin eBay if this happens. Gamestop is only alive because they are a meme lol
English

GameStop (the company that has said were going broke several times) just bid 56 BILLION $ to acquire eBay.
🤯
Watcher.Guru@WatcherGuru
JUST IN: GameStop $GME offers to buy $EBAY for $56,000,000,000.
English

@TheCardScience I really hope this doesn't go through. Gamestop is a terrible company. If they buy eBay, then end up buying PSA. They just control the tcg market. Would be kind of funny if Gamestop goes all in on tcgs, then nobody wants Pokémon, magic, etc.
English

GameStop is Buying EBay PART 2! $56 Billion Dollar offer is on the table, the market could change drastically. $GME $EBAY
What do you guys think about this?

@PokeTeeJay I'm surprised that stores haven't stopped taking products all together. Fights and people loitering waiting for products. Pokémon could've fixed this months ago by pausing stocking retail stores. Botting and scalping create false scarcity.
English

@PokeHEX5555 I memba. I just hope they've been printed a bunch of the 30th anniversary set, and that's why it feels like barely anything is getting released.
English

@CardGameNomad It's funny how all these people who started a Pokémon card business in 2025 think their good at running a business 😂. When things finally slow down in the future, a lot of people are going to get crushed.
English

He blocked me 😂
He casually admitted to being a scalper.
He also does the “but I have given away thousands”…. Giveaways doesn’t stop you from being criticized.
And he’s so much “closer to the solution”…. Breakers with $100 bundles are nowhere close to the solution

AJ@CardGameNomad
👀 - Streams on Tiktok - Joined in on the hype in early 2025 - Prices everything ABOVE market Looks like they don't want you talking about prices so people don't point out how much of a scumbag they are.
English

@kutcher_josh @PokeSignals I think the difference between now and then is that retail stores stopped ordering Pokémon cards. So it all got dumped on card shops. This time, stores keep getting products, so scalping and botting continues.
English

@ShaggyCollects @PokeSignals They’re not trying not like they did with the Covid boom atleast
