we talk a lot about infrastructure, but at the end of the day people just want things to feel fast. when you hit "swap" on uniswap, waiting around for confirmation still feels way slower than it should. latency is a big part of that. every millisecond you shave off gets us closer to blockchains that feel instant instead of making you wait. moving block propagation from around 1 second to roughly 150ms is a pretty big step in that direction. @get_optimum is focused on making that happen. making web3 feel as smooth as web2, without giving up decentralization.
