This is Wild. Deutsche Bank has developed an index that helps to predict the next TACO by Trump. It has proven effective in previous big Trump pivots. The "Pressure index" combines one-month change in approval ratings, one-year inflation expectations and performance of the S&P 500 & t-bill yields. The higher it goes, the greater the chances of 🌮

The thing about Hyperliquid Labs is they don't give a fuck. They don't give a fuck about conferences, presence somewhere, they don't give a fuck about you as a project or you as an individual. They have their own vision of how they see things, they don’t care about absolutely anything, if product is good — it will strive on a blockchain that is already big and flourishing. There are no grants, no liquidity programs, no investors, nothing. Labs don't have to prove anything to anyone. There are real users, real infra, real liquidity, etc, everything is ready, just ship something that people will find useful. That behavior might trigger someone because "how come they don't help their ecosystem protocols", but it is actually a great attitude to keep focused on what they do the best — shipping.
Peter / 1k(x)@pet3rpan_

Hypothetical Hyperliquid ecosystem arm: 1. Execute events strategy, to build the premier onchain trader conference, starting in NY, then SF and London after 2. Organize the hype EVM ecosystem, incubator and/or accelerator program, investor relations for the umbrella of companies building on Hype 3. Launch an ventures arm + fund of funds strategy to start building influence with earlier stage companies, need to avoid unnecessary spray and pray

EVIL is the Only Word for This: There are about 10 million people living in the densely urban areas of Tehran and about 15 million total counting those residing in its immediate surroundings and suburbs. It takes just one drop of oil to contaminate 200 liters/50 gallons of water. There are videos of soot and crude literally raining from the sky - houses and streets coated in oil, trees spontaneously catching fire. Cancer rates will skyrocket, including birth defects from the massive volumes of volatile hydrocarbons released in the atmosphere. Every aquifer and underground water supply will be poisoned for the foreseeable future. Fauna - from household pets to birds and insects - will be eradicated, plants will wither and die and every crop growing there, if any survive, will end up contaminated by the soil. Tehran has, for all intents and purposes, been set on an irreversible course toward becoming a wasteland. US and Israel essentially dropped the equivalent of a dirty bomb on Iran - just without the explosion or immediate effects. The fact that the news is reporting on this without commenting on its unthinkable consequences for the region is simply surreal. This is arguably the biggest war crime committed by a sovereign nation since World War 2. If Western countries still had an ounce of moral backbone, they would be turning the US and Israel into pariah states at best or labeling them rogue nations after today's act.

This war is stupid. We went to war with Iran under false pretenses. Last year the White House told us Iran had an active nuclear weapons program that we "completely obliterated." Then told us last week that Iran was "days away" from nuclear capabilities. They told us regime change was the goal. Now Trump admits the next government "could be worse." Which is it? We're running out of precision weapons. The Strait of Hormuz is closed, oil is surging, and shipping lanes are paralyzed. There's no exit strategy, no endgame, and no plan for what comes next - just open-ended conflict in a region we spent 20 years trying to leave. This was never our fight to start. Iran wasn't attacking the US mainland. There was no imminent threat to American citizens. Yet here we are, bogged down in another Middle East quagmire while the debt piles up and the military-industrial complex cashes checks. They sold us nuclear weapons that didn't exist. They promised stability and delivered chaos. And now we're stuck holding the bag while gas prices spike and the world wonders if American foreign policy has any coherent strategy at all. Regime change failed in Iraq. It failed in Afghanistan. And it's failing in Iran before it even starts. When do we learn?

🚨🇦🇪🇺🇸 Prominent UAE billionaire Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor just published an open letter to Trump. It's brutal. "Who gave you the authority to drag our region into a war with Iran? Who gave you permission to turn our region into a battlefield?" Al Habtoor's a major figure: billionaire, former diplomat, outspoken political voice in the Gulf. When he talks, UAE leadership's listening. His questions: * Was this your decision or Netanyahu's pressure? * Did you calculate collateral damage before firing? * You placed GCC countries at the heart of danger they didn't choose * Your "Board of Peace" initiatives were funded by Gulf states. Now we're getting attacked. Where did that money go? * You promised no wars. You've conducted operations in 7 countries: Somalia, Iraq, Yemen, Nigeria, Syria, Iran, Venezuela * 658 airstrikes in your first year back = Biden's entire term (which you criticized) * War costs $40-65 billion for operations, possibly $210 billion total * Your approval rating's down 9% in 400 days * Americans were promised peace. They're getting war funded by their taxes The sharpest line: "Before the ink has dried on your Board of Peace initiative, we find ourselves facing military escalation that endangers the entire region. So where did those initiatives go?" Al Habtoor's not some random critic. He's establishment. Connected. When UAE elites start publicly questioning Trump's decision-making, that's America's closest Arab allies saying "we didn't sign up for this." The letter ends: "True leadership is not measured by war decisions, but by wisdom, respect for others, and pushing toward achieving peace." @KhalafAlHabtoor
