@_erikaroper I use Timelapse, it integrates with MegaDetector. The developer Saul Greenberg has lots of good tutorials and he’s thought of most things. But Wildlife insights is also pretty cool.

Yo, camera trappers! What software do you use for managing all the photos? I’ve only just started and I already have approximately 1.3 million photos (mostly of vegetation 😆).

Question Did the word “beloved” used to have three syllables because that’s how I say it 😭 I only hear it in media with two syllables now 😬

Update: Not funded. #DECRA23 #ARC This is looking very likely to be the point I join that so-called leaky pipeline of level B/C women. Suggestions for alternate careers for ecologists trained as academics very welcome please.
Dr Alex Carthey@alexcarthey

Finally hit submit on my second attempt at a #DECRA. How was the process? Brutal. 49 pages of the most intensely scrutinised and carefully thought out text. Edited and re-edited and re-edited (and then re-edited!) for clarity, accuracy, and precision. 1/9

The Yirralka Rangers and I identified and tagged the photos from our first camera trap deployment in the Laynhapuy IPA. We were excited to see Yolŋu priority species rupu (nb possums) and wan’kurra (nb bandicoots), and a Spectacled Hare Wallaby! @XCultureEcology @nature_org
