What a horrendous call at home plate in the Cubs-Rangers game. A foul ball was not noticed by the home-plate umpire, who deemed it a passed ball, and the Cubs score the go-ahead run in the top of the ninth. Awful.

@JeffPassan What year does the current game time equate to? We are just getting game time back to where it was before every player decided they had to adjust a half dozen pieces of equipment between each pitch.

I've still yet to have anyone provide a reasonable answer to this question: What, exactly, are you losing? The numbers show explicitly: The is *more* "baseball." More hits. More SB. More plays. More throws. There are still 27 outs. The only thing you're losing is down time.
