@ShaneJordan222 If you're interested or scared of liminal horror, the walking around is ironically the best part. If you're not, then that's fine. Depending on your preference, it's either the most creepy shit ever or the most boring and both are equally valid. But is an 8/10 for me.

#backrooms review: Started off strong but quickly went off the rails and lost me. Good set design, atmosphere, humor, and acting at times but not enough to save it from the goofy ass creature reveal, dull moments walking around seeing furniture, or the lack of “horror”. 5/10

@ShaneJordan222 The walking around is the horror that this is trying to capture it's liminal horror. It's not for everybody it's the whole place has an eerie uncanny valley feel to it it's a place that shouldn't exist and it does that's unnerving and horrific on its own

waking up this morning thinking about this scene from Backrooms (2026) as someone who doesn’t really like found footage, this found footage part in the film is one of the most striking, eerie scenes from horror. just bone chilling.
