$NVDA becomes the biggest market cap company today. This crown should belong to $TSLA. Why?
1. Nvidia sells mostly to corporates today, while usually the top companies are consumer facing, because the addressable market is much larger. Tesla’s product is consumer facing, in the biggest consumer market in history (auto market). Tesla also takes on the corporate market too (the energy business).
2. AI is what sends Nvidia to the top. Tesla’s FSD is the only industrial application of AI, which already brings in billions of revenue even in beta phase. It is a critical application of AI, unlike ChatGPT type of textual generative application, which may not hurt anyone if ChatGPT generates a wrong or nonsense answer. FSD doesn’t have that luxury.
3. Optimus, next line of product, is in a massive consumer/corporate market. It opens a new product category. And it is AI on steroids.
Hope investor community will realize this one day and return the crown to Tesla.
