I believe that free speech is the most important right in the world, and I'll defend it to my end. I believe that AI will change the world, and it's up to us to ensure that this change benefits as many people as possible. I want to live a good life by running ethical companies, building fairly priced multifamily developments, and helping people improve their lives and the lives of those around them.

Want to know why housing is expensive in many parts of the country? Municipal regulations. Here’s a sample of some I’ve seen: - the entire project must be surrounded by a 6 foot masonry wall - the project must provide 70% covered parking - all units MUST have balconies no smaller than 25 sq ft - ratio of building/land size - e.g. gross floor space cannot exceed total lot area (or worse - half of total lot area) Cities claim that regulations like these ensure nice developments for their residents. Maybe they do, but they also increase construction costs and rents.

I don’t think local models will ever be the default but every device will need one as an emergency generator to stop people freaking out when they lose connectivity and have to make a decision.

@farzyness @RobertMSterling How does this work? Many travelers fly because of time savings. People aren’t going to take this on vacation. How do they charge the same as regular buses? Pricing for regular buses is based on their capacity. Lower capacity would require increased ticket prices.

There's an UNBELIEVABLE use case for regional trips in the US that will decimate air travel and buses. Fully autonomous Tesla Robovans outfitted as long-haul first-class "buses". These would run routes similar to Amtrak or Greyhounds, but with First-Class-like comfort, amenities, and space. The price per seat of these can be the same as a bus, but FAR more comfortable and FAR more luxurious. Can obviously optimize the interior for the best configuration but MAN. This would absolutely KILL.
