Here’s a hotel tip to massage a late check out, as I learned under the tutelage of @luisjgomez . If you come in late, memorize a basic but complimentary version of desk person(pretty woman with curly hair, tall guy with glasses, sweet grey haired woman). Tell front desk next morning they gave you a late check out but told you to tell them in the morning. That person worked a night shift and they’re not going to wake them up to confirm.
