I’m pleased to say that we are arranging a second government charter flight later this week from Abu Dhabi. We are now contacting those citizens in the UAE who have already been in contact with us requesting assistance to return to Ireland @dfatirl
@NoelZone@1969SIOBHAN The complete collection of political parties regardless of whether they are in government or not, are behind quite a few of these “specimens”, “Dr. Ebun Joseph” and her American mentor in UCD are two more and there are others both native Irish and foreigners all need to removed
This man was allegedly the victim of a hate crime. The countries media and radical left went crazy prompting paul murphy to rant about islamphobia. His story never made sense his photos unconvincing. So why havent we heard anything since. 😉
Ebun Joseph, the Irish government's diversity and race relations consultant says "You know" 13 times in 36 seconds.
This woman is paid a government salary.
@MickOKeeffe Deport this mouthpiece now, fucker isn’t a wet week here and insists on telling us what our history and culture is according to her Google search. If as an immigrant you refuse to integrate or don’t like it here, leave don’t think you have any right to lecture Irish natives.
Nigerian Muslim living in Ireland suggests the Irish flag is a display of hate and goes on to compare herself and other 3rd world migrants to St Patrick.
From Presidential Mourning to Midnight St. Patrick's Day Celebrations
Ireland's President Catherine Connolly marked her first St. Patrick's Day in office with an address that has stirred strong feelings.
In a short message from Áras an Uachtaráin, she referred to our patron simply as "Patrick" multiple times, never once as "Saint Patrick", effectively sidelining the Christian saint whose name defines the day.
Controversially, she spoke of "our shared responsibilities as "global citizens", framing Patrick's story, not as the triumph of faith in Ireland, but as a reminder of the resilience and courage of migrants, and a call for "hospitality and kindness to those suffering the consequences of war and displacement."
Those few lines capture the core concern for many, an apparent effort to recast St. Patrick's Day as a globalist, multicultural event centred on migration and shared global duties, rather than a proud international tribute to Irish culture, heritage, and Christianity.
By emphasising "global citizens" over 'Irish citizens', and highlighting Patrick's enslaved arrival as a migrant parallel, the address felt like it diluted the day's distinctly national and religious roots.
Adding to the unease, the president appeared in sombre black mourning attire rather than the traditional green that has long symbolised the day and Ireland itself, a visual choice that many read as another quiet rejection of the holiday's joyful, national character.
In welcome contrast, the day began in true traditional style. At midnight this morning, right as March 17 dawned, the village of Kinlough in County Leitrim held the country's first St. Patrick's Day parade.
Locals gathered from 11 p.m. last night at the community centre, then marched through Main Street with traditional music, community groups, and unapologetic Irish pride.
No rebranding, no lectures, just a heartfelt start to the celebrations that many see as the real spirit of the day.
As parades continue across Leitrim and nationwide today, including Cloone's first-ever event this evening, they quietly affirm that for countless people, Saint Patrick's day remains rooted in home, history, and faith.
The president's words may have aimed for inclusivity on a world stage, but they risked alienating those who cherish the holiday's original meaning.
Today, amid the parades and toasts, many will simply celebrate the Ireland they know, one shaped by Patrick the saint, not redefined by modern politics.
Sláinte and Happy St. Patrick's Day, however you choose to mark it.
🚨 BREAKING: President Trump just ENDED UK PM Keir Starmer's whole career in the Oval Office
*Turns around*: "I'm DISAPPOINTED. You see that man right there? Know who that is? The late, great WINSTON CHURCHILL."
"Unfortunately, Keir Starmer is NOT Winston Churchill." 🔥🔥
Ireland’s new president Catherine Connolly sends out a 60-second message ahead of tomorrow’s Saint Patrick’s Day celebrations:
"The story of Patrick's life serves as a reminder of the courage of migrants"

@Murnettie@Nick_Delehanty@EmployRightsIE Absolutely agree, the amount of “Twilight Zone” decisions and actions taken by our EU shill regime government beats fuck out
@Nick_Delehanty@EmployRightsIE This country is a fucking joke! Asylum is supposed to be a mechanism for those who face actual danger and persecution with their lives at risk. This type of crap undermines the whole idea of asylum
An American trans couple are claiming asylum in Ireland since May 2025
They are from Missouri & Massachusetts and claiming that Trump’s “vicious dictatorship” makes them feel unsafe.
They were living in Rhode Island and experienced homelessness before being housed in Clare by the Irish tax payer.
“Ireland, so far, has been far better than anything that we've experienced,”
