@sam_telepak@Destiny2Team Most likely not. Prismatic only has 1 melee from each class and smoke bomb, while boring, does provide a useful benefit to prismatic in being able to weaken enemies without wasting a fragment. So I highly doubt they’d swap smoke bomb out for this new one.
@HousofOnion@Destiny2Team This is just the bubble rework, new void hunter melee, and new void warlock aspect. The titan and hunter aspects ARE the solar ones, but they aren’t showing them yet.

...and we're still hunting down stragglers.
This is a big patch. Our teams have worked tirelessly to hit the highest priority/impacting bugs before launch, but there may be a few rough edges.
We hope you find Monument of Triumph to be packed to the brim with fun. If you encounter any issues on launch day or beyond, never hesitate to send us the info.
@CANAD1AN_KRONiC@myelingames@Aztecross Brother people are only playing destiny again because it's going eol I am one of them, this isn't really proof for anything
To quote @Aztecross but switching Destiny and Marathon.
“I don’t want to play Destiny… I want Marathon… and if Destiny, if I have to f’n bury you myself to send that message, I shall. I will do everything I can to destroy you, pee on your corpse and light you on fire”
Rather than working together yall wanted this to be a war between Marathon and Destiny.
On that note, I have privated 10 years of Destiny Lore videos. Good luck with a cohesive story if D3 ever happens. It aint in the game, its not in the studio (because it was vaulted). Better not piss off Byf, he is the last source of comprehensive lore.
@Snarkley831@DestinyTheGame Being mad because maybe you only bought year of prophecy thinking there would be tons more content afterwards is completely fair. But everything that you officially paid for (minus the rewards pass coming on the 9th) has already been delivered.
@Snarkley831@DestinyTheGame It doesn’t have to be shadow and order at all. This was always a free update. The only thing you paid for that you haven’t received is 1 more rewards pass. They could technically just add that pass to the game and nothing else, and you still would’ve received all you paid for.

For almost twelve years, we have had the joy and honor to explore the Destiny universe with you all. Through all the ups and downs, surprises and triumphs, building Destiny alongside our players has been a monumental privilege. While our love for Destiny 2 has not changed, it has become clear that after The Final Shape, we have reached the time for our shared worlds, and Destiny, to live beyond Destiny 2.
As our focus turns towards a new beginning for Bungie, we will begin work incubating our next games. To that end, on June 9, 2026, we will release the final live-service content update for Destiny 2 to begin that new journey as a studio.
Though active development may be concluding, we will ensure that Destiny 2 remains playable, just as the original Destiny is today. Many changes in this final update will aim to ensure that Destiny 2 is a welcoming place for players to return to.
We’re proud of Destiny 2, the places it took us, and the legacy it has created. Because of you all, our universe is vast, built on years of shared stories, adventures, and victories. From the Cosmodrome to the Pale Heart to the Lawless Frontier, we have forged life-long memories and friendships with you all.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who made that journey with us.
From the deepest part of our hearts, thank you, and we'll see you in the stars.
@Cheyenesku@Snarkley831@DestinyTheGame The only 1 thing in this image that we aren’t receiving is Shadow and Order, which was FREE. That has been stated since the very beginning. EoF/Reneg were paid. Other updates were free. The only thing you paid for and haven’t gotten yet is the last pass, which you’ll get in June.
@Snarkley831@DestinyTheGame The only stuff covered by your Year of Prophecy purchase was Edge of Fate, Renegades, and the 4 rewards passes in the year, and that was said from the beginning. Year of Prophecy was 2 DLC and 2 free updates. The only thing missing is the final pass which you’ll get in June.
@Gothalion This isn’t to say it’s impossible we get a D3. And I would be super happy if we did. But it’s definitely the much riskier option for Sony and I honestly doubt they go with it
@Gothalion This is a bit of sunk cost fallacy. Yes, D3 is their only chance at making some money back with Bungie, but that also means spending many millions more to make D3 with no guarantee it would sell, especially given the extremely bad sentiment/engagement in the last few years of D2.
Full steam on D3 at the "request" of Sony feels very likely here. IMO this shift was a needed and good thing. Looking like the final LIVE update For Destiny 2 in June will be hefty as it sounds to include intended future stuff.
@Gothalion The safer option is to just dismantle Bungie and take the huge financial loss, instead of risking millions of dollars and years of work to maybe make some good money. Record it as a huge loss for some nicer taxes and call it a day.
@Snarkley831@DestinyTheGame There are many things to complain about, but this is a non-issue. You already got everything you paid for. Year of prophecy covered edge of fate, renegades, and their rewards passes. Shadow & Order was the equivalent of Ash and Iron. You didn’t pay for anything after renegades.
@DestinyTheGame Im just curious, what does that mean for everyone who bought the yearlong pass with the 2 updates ? Does this confirm they are working on destiny 3 or is this just the end of destiny?
@yourtwodads@PaulTassi Rare???????? Brother you have to run like 15-20 full coil runs to get every seasonal weapon crafted. Maybe 25 if your RNG is bad. It takes like 3-4 weeks of playing MAX to get every weapon crafted in a season. Then you spend the rest of the season with literally nothing to do.
@PaulTassi there are far too many good other games out there to stay on a treadmill that doesn't respect our time, crafting could have fixed that if the reds weren't so rare but now id rather just not bother
@_JuanApolinar@NotJPMay@PaulTassi The only leak is crow going in slightly before everyone else. This is barely a spoiler. We’ve known we were going into the traveler since Lightfall. The ONLY thing that we actually learned from this is that crow probably goes in the 2nd to last week and we go in the last week
@NotJPMay@PaulTassi I get your point, but it's like watching a movie and saying, "Wow, good guys win, bad guys lose. Big surprise." There's still details within the obvious things that people want to be surprised on.
Yeah I dunno, big bummer the ending of the last real season before the last expansion of a saga leaked *in game*
Big misfire all around and you can’t even blame dataminers or a pastebin this time
@BillyTheBubby@darkstarastel Yeah thats the hardest part by far. First boss was a 3 phase, second was a 4 phase, and third took 2.5 rotations to the top
