Scammers are getting way better. Guys calling my cell claiming to be @Strike security sending some extremely well cloned emails. Same rules apply, don’t click the links they send etc. @jackmallers you going to be hanging around BTC Vegas?

Absolutely useless. Gemma hallucinating so bad it’s funny. It thinks Open Claw is a game and it’s supposed to get you through the levels 😅. Stop pretending these lightweight models can compete with GPT5 or Claude Opus, or even GROK 4 for that matter. Light weight models ran local are so bad it takes more time to get it to even go in the correct direction than to do it yourself, and then you still have to check if what it did was correct

It’s actually kinda crazy how much Bitcoin has changed. Bitcoin farms used to have little exposure to the masses, a few of the same sites in photos was it. Getting onto a site was basically impossible. Today through the work of companies that want to share how amazing Bitcoin Mining is we get to see sites all over the country from great contact creators like @HobbyistMiner

No idea how to get Jenson’s or Nvidia’s ear but he mentioned on the @lexfridman podcast that data centers need to go after the “wasted” energy vs the 99.999999 uptime contracts. That’s literally what I and all Bitcoin Miners have been doing for years! Give me a call buddy I’ll teach you how.

It feels like molasses for real work. Unless you have $40k in GPUs laying around and can run the heavier models it’s not very good in heavy reasoning, heavy coding, long context, tool use discipline, and too much drift. It’s a cool step for basic reasoning, light drafting, narrow task scope, and of course run local for security. Still a long ways to go. Everyone should be trying to be self hosted, but there’s a lot of hype here for reality. Reality is AI agents have been a massive step forward and made AI “real” for the first time. Still garbage compared to a IRL team. I’m actually excited about AI for the first time. Big corners have been turned and it will go faster from here.

Google just made the most powerful free AI agent possible. The AI cost war is over… The best models are becoming free. Gemma 4. 26B parameters. Runs locally on your machine. But the real alpha nobody's talking about is the native function calling. That means this model can use tools. Browse. Execute code. Call APIs. Act as an autonomous agent. All running on your hardware. All offline. All free. The local AI agent stack for 2026: > Ollama + Gemma 4 as the brain (free, local)
> MCP servers for tool access (web browsing, databases, APIs)
> Claude Code for the heavy lifting when you need it
> Gemma 4 for everything else that doesn't need top-tier reasoning This is how you stop paying hundreds of dollars every month for Ai.. Run your research, code reviews, drafting, and data processing on Gemma 4 locally. Only use Claude for the complex stuff. Setup takes 2 minutes:
> Install Ollama: curl -fsSL ollama.com/install.sh | sh
> Pull the model: ollama pull gemma4
> Done. You have a top-tier AI running for free. A 26B model matching 685B models. Open source. Free. On your laptop.
Google@Google

We just released Gemma 4 — our most intelligent open models to date. Built from the same world-class research as Gemini 3, Gemma 4 brings breakthrough intelligence directly to your own hardware for advanced reasoning and agentic workflows. Released under a commercially permissive Apache 2.0 license so anyone can build powerful AI tools. 🧵↓

If a quantum computer could derive a private key from a public key, why would they waste their time on Bitcoin? Why not just take over Visa? Or an entire government? Or Google? Messing with Bitcoin just temporarily risks the usd value of Bitcoin and the few wallets that don’t adopt the new standard and immediately devalues what they stole, while everyone watches the new wallet until it tries to transact leading to the inevitable capture of the purp. BTC seems a small target that devalues the profit of the attacker if successful, in comparison to everything else that uses elliptic cryptography for security? First group that gets quantum it would be way more entertaining watching them get in an erase the worlds debt.

The average cost to mine one Bitcoin is at ~$60,100 at 7 cents/kWh, according to the University of Cambridge tracker. That's a profit of $10,600 per coin, almost double the profit from 2 weeks ago. Bitcoin is up just 8% since then. Even a modest bull market can turbocharge profitability.

This house and hot tub are heated by bitcoin miners. Electricity turned into heat AND money. It's a no brainer, but what few realize is it's also the ultimate trojan horse to secure bitcoin's future 💡 Let me explain. Mining is a cutthroat industry with slim margins and home mining is no different. In most cases, it makes no economical sense to mine at home. But it does make sense to heat your home, and bitcoin miners are great heaters 🔥 It's infrastructure. It's utility. And once it's in your home, hashrate is being decentralized. When hundreds of millions of homes & businesses around the world are using hashrate heating Then the network becomes much more secure and decentralized. And any govt intervention (look up Executive Order 6102) becomes a lot more difficult to pull off. Try outlawing bitcoin and telling people they can't heat their homes. See how that goes. Try taking our hot tubs. You can't take our hot tubs! These dual-purpose mining and heating use cases are the Trojan horse that makes Bitcoin even more unstoppable. Thoughts?

Paying for a "hit piece" disguised as editorial content is a desperate move. It’s a breach of law and an insult to the proof-of-work ethos that defines Bitcoin mining. It’s time to mature up. At Compass, we stand for transparency and real accountability - no shortcuts, just putting our customers first. In Bitcoin mining, the only thing that should speak for you is the work you actually do. #BitcoinMining #ProofOfWork

Hey Apple and Android can you please default to auto block all 40 million numbers… I don’t need a $60k unsecured loan. There are 4 toll-free prefixes in the specified range (844, 855, 866, 877). Each supports 10,000,000 possible numbers (any 7 digits after the prefix, assuming all available). 4 × 10,000,000 = 40,000,000.

Everyone panics when BTC drops while I sit around a hope it drops. Every 4 years I worry I won’t get to accumulate under the previous ATH. The drop in price is a gift. The other side are Bitcoin miner prices drop! Too many people buy miners at the top. FOMO gets the best of us. Today we have the lowest prices on turn key hosted Antminer S21XP I’ve seen since release. It’s times like this you should pick up miners with the goal of acquiring more BTC over the next 4-5 years than you could otherwise buy with the same $. Don’t buy miners with your BTC, buy it with cash. Use an LLC, make it a business, use the tax advantages and depreciate them to offset your tax liability. 6 x S21XP 270TH for $14/TH. In the racks hashing right now waiting for your pool. DM me. Deeper discounts for volume! I think this is the lowest turn key price in the industry today. I’m either going to push every one else’s prices down to compete or be the lowest.
