The conclave opened with remarks by Lt Gen Anindya Sengupta, GOC-in-C #SuryaCommand, followed by a keynote address by defence and strategic affairs expert Mr Nitin Gokhale, setting the tone for discussions on the evolving information domain. The Expert Session on “Institutionalising Strategic Communication as a Capability for Future Preparedness in the Emerging Information Space” featured Amb Ruchira Kamboj, Lt Gen Raj Shukla (Retd), Amb Yash Sinha and Mr Nitin Gokhale highlighting the growing importance of narrative building, information resilience and strategic messaging. A panel discussion on “Shaping the Mind-Space: Perception Management in the Strategic Domain” saw insights from Maj Gen AK Chaturvedi, Mr Snehesh Philip, Mr Sandeep Unnithan and Mrs Shivani Sharma on the influence of information ecosystems on public perception and national security narratives. A Special Interactive Session on “Strategic Communication in Emerging Multi-Domain Operations” brought together Lt Gen DP Pandey (Retd), Dr Shantanu Mukharji, Amb Dilip Sinha, Mr Sharat Chander, Lt Gen Raj Shukla (Retd) and Mrs Veena Jain to discuss integrating communication strategies with modern operational environments.
