A UK-based Nigerian Ticktoker known as Jectimi, recently confessed that him and his Ghanaian colleagues lied about their truck-driving experience to secure a jobs of £350 per 8-hour in the UK. He made a video and posted it online, the video went viral, & the company saw it, few days later the truck driving company sacked him and his Ghanaian friend.

I wish we can all turn away from money worshipping as a society. Nobody should be aspiring to be a billionaire. No billionaire has ethical wealth. The politicians who are also billionaires are the reasons why you are very poor. They don’t have your interest at heart.

Other government are solving problems to sustain small businesses because the more small businesses grow, the more business and personal income for citizens = increase in tax base. He listed every situation the government failed his business but somehow his answer was give the government more time. Maybe when Elon Musk stops paying we will all be honest

For contest, This guy had a food business in Nigeria, it’s been operational for years. Within 3 years of Tinubu, he shut down his business. He said the cost of running it is much and he’s loosing daily. He further explained that the price for diesel to power the restaurant (since there is no light), the cost of food stuffs in market, rent and all became unbearable but he didn’t think it’s the government’s fault. In addition, APC took over from PDP since 2015; and the past 11 years seems to be the worse years of an average Nigerian including him; but you see these 3 years of Tinubu, it’s like 60 years of suffering compressed in 3. But Pamilerin can’t afford to speak against a Yoruba leader because he’s from the Yoruba tribe. A proper fool if you ask me.

@jp52291 @GodsgreatG The idea of longer and more dexterous thumbs is natural selection - if 10 kids are born (just an example) and evolution/natural selection decides that a longer thumb is a trait required to survive - one of those kids gets it. It has to get in the gene pool first

@ShaolinHobo @GodsgreatG Not necessarily though. What you’re describing would only happen if people with long thumbs were reproducing and people with stubby thumbs weren’t, but no one is reproducing or not based on how long their thumb is, so it doesn’t work

This is Obi Jackson's Nestoil headquarters in Victoria Island Lagos. It had been sealed since October 2025. It was sealed at first with signages and tapes, some time early this year I started seeing Police vehicles in front of the place. I want to ask how wise it is to shutdown a blue chip company because of debt ? When we can just put a system in place that ensures activities are on and payment is made through a financial medium the company cannot hinder ? Nigeria is not ready to build, all they do is destroy. Owing is not a crime, lack of institutions that can recover debt without shutting down businesses is the crime against our Labour Market.
