I'm a 100% unwanted child. Parents were forced to marry because I was born. I lived a bad childhood and I inherited bad genes from both of them which fuck me up physically and mentally (I'm an adult). My other parent still hates me.

- story is fine/villain is great
- the humour is a lil' corny but charming
- Lara talks more like an actual British woman

In my experience, this is fine for many classic fans. There aren't many people begging for Henshingly's return (though there are exceptions). Most fans just wanted Lara to 'become the tomb raider', whatever her origin story was.

@SynnFusion @TJeannot29289 Ugh maybe I'm not explaining this the best, but I guess my point is that considering how important Shadow is to the Survivor trilogy, it was surprising that the anime works perfectly fine (or maybe even better) if you consider it a continuation to 2013.

@SynnFusion @TJeannot29289 It's just that Shadow is very plot-dense compared to all the games that are suppose to come after it, so they might turn Shadow into a more light-hearted adventure to soften that difference.
Also gotta leave the doors open for milking the "what have I done!?" plots indefinitely😂

Oh yeah, in addition to "fact or fiction" suggesting this is a unified timeline deep dive, we have the explicit mention of "chronological order" that is in universe timeline. Now which era is the ONLY era in which there even is a singular chronological order for everything? 😌
