I don't have a problem with people who enjoy a cigar. Years ago I used to have an occasional one. But they've become a ubiquitous brand thing for online Catholics - cigars are just the Catholic version of the atheist in a fedora.

We have released Patch 1.03 to further address crashing issues on STEAM. If you continue to experience issues, we will prioritize investigating and addressing them. Please read the patch notes here: store.steampowered.com/news/app/16896…

So quick thoughts on Bleach Rebirth Of Souls after a good 40+hrs🤔 -The game DOES have a solid foundation as it takes inspiration from many games but primarily ArcSys games. Pretty cool I'd say -The game does actually have whiff punishment so you can't mash auto combos unless it's on hit/block which is a nice change of pace to me. Makes neutral feel a bit more natural -Its a game they put a lot of thought into the win conditions because the stock system is pretty unique imo. The decision making in stock dmg is a really interesting approach to win cons. -Presentation is top notch and very sleek for a game of this stature -Controls are good but really needs dpad support if they directional controll scheme intends to stay the same. I can appreciate the scheme I just think when using dashes it's rough with the analog stick. Rather play leverless or dpad 100% -Unfortunately, the bugs, glitches, infinites, unblocks are in attendance sadly so this game gets cooked for lack of testing despite the great foundation. Probably couldn't get much testing due to release timeline most likely. -I need to highlight the tracking issues with some attack strings is rough for no reason. It's like the collision boxes get scrambled for whatever reason. Like if I grab an opponent and try to combo them in some instances my combo goes off axis and I get cooked for it? Makes zero sense... -Online feels almost like rollback but not sure what this is? -Some characters need their dmg values adjusted in and out of awakening to make match flow feel better. The player should feel strong regardless of Awakening. Everyone in Awakening should feel like a boss character imo -Boss/Dangai Ichigo...this abomination? I have no idea what that is but he should NEVER be playable outside of story mode in his current state unless they balance that character. It's actually insane the nonsense that character has. (So you day 1 tournament bracket runners should heavily consider this!) -Lastly hitboxes on some moves and their active frames need to be adjusted too it feels? It feels bad to back step a move and see the slow down for a successful step, to only get hit in the end anyway because the active frames on said attacks are way too long. They can keep the active frames if they add invul after a successful step into a punish. Right now stepping feels good but also kinda weak? Hard to say.. Either way that's my quick and dirty. I think the game has potential to be good but the stigma of anime fighters sadly persists with this title. I'd like to be surprised by the devs to add the polish necessary to let this game be what it should be. I'm not looking for this game to be some new esports phenomenon, I just would like to see it break the stigma of anime arena fighters finally so those that enjoy these kinds of games can be happy that SOMETHING broke the mold. Share to make a Bleach fan see there's people that are indifferent in the FGC towards arena fighters!

First impression: fully agree. Story budget felt but still impressive for what they do/how much they cover. Gameplay has been fun to learn. First the basics and now every character is a new surprise. No ranked, no spectator, mid netcode (fine for same region). Review next week.

The most auto of auto combos 💀 Waiting for the next 'this arena fighter should be at Evo!' discourse
