Ft. A.P. Hill will become Ft. Walker after Dr. Mary Edwards Walker. "Walker served as a doctor in the US Army during the Civil War. The Army's first female surgeon to one battle she remained with wounded soldiers after the US Army unit departed, disregarding her own safety."
