I know many student nurses will be worried about the news today but please be patient with your universities as they organise around these new NMC emergency education standards. They're not purposefully withholding information from you. #studentnurse

Whilst we hoped we would not need to take this action again once again our 3rd years have been asked to be part of the response. We will work with partners to ensure all students are supported which ever year group, wherever they work, and that they learn & develop . >MR 1/

When I became a mentor, I did so on the basis that I never wanted any student to feel the way some made me feel as a student. Don’t address them as ‘the student’ take time to learn their name, their aspirations. Let them take control at times. Teach them but also learn from them.
