Wales suffered through 14 years of tory austerity. Wales has never voted tory in over 100 years Why now would they vote for the turquoise tories because reform is full of them. Why would you want our public services to suffer even more? Make it make sense

The Government say they want Disabled people in work, but at the same time their cuts to Access to Work support are pushing people like Michelle out of jobs that they love. Does that make sense to you? inews.co.uk/inews-lifestyl…

From the £4bn owed to us from HS2 to the money from our natural resources that goes to London, Wales is being shortchanged. Where Labour have given up and Reform wouldn't even try, Plaid Cymru will always stand up for Wales. Vote Plaid Cymru on 7 May.

Here's one of @reformparty_uk's candidates for next month's local elections in Westminster seriously telling me on X in 2023 that: “Hate is too weak a word for what I feel towards the NHS. I’d tear it down and salt the earth upon which it stood.” Oh, and he also has a track record of abusing NHS nurses online. No wonder Nigel Farage - who on multiple occasions has publicly advocated replacing the NHS with an insurance-based system – sees him as an ideal Reform UK councillor. Vote for Reform - and for nice chaps like James - if you want your NHS gutted, destroyed & replaced with an exploiting-the-sick-for-profit corporate alternative, folks.

The government is facing accusations of a cover-up after refusing to release a report that examined the quality of PIP assessments, following a sub-standard test linked to the death or serious harm suffered by a disabled claimant. #PIP #DWP disabilitynewsservice.com/dwp-refuses-to…

While Labour have run our NHS to the ground, Nigel Farage and Reform UK will sell it off to the highest bidder. Only Plaid Cymru has plans to cut waiting lists and build a health service fit for the future.

Richard Tice failed to pay £100k in tax - while his firm funnelled over £1m into Reform UK. In a few weeks, Reform will insult hardworking taxpayers in Wales by asking them to trust them with power. Only Plaid Cymru can stop them. thetimes.com/article/9ed8b7…

Jeez. Labour MP’s have just voted to give police unprecedented powers to ban recurring protests turning a fundamental freedom into a privilege granted by the state. No protest movement has ever brought about change through one single march or action - it’s precisely the cumulative nature of protest that has resulted in progressive change and held governments to account. More than 40 civil society groups including the TUC joined forces to oppose this draconian crackdown by the government on our rights to freedom of expression and assembly but the government has driven it through anyway. How did it come to this?
Peter Stefanovic@PeterStefanovi2

🚨THIS WEEK MP’S WILL VOTE ON A BILL TO GIVE POLICE UNPRECEDENTED POWERS TO BAN RECURRING PROTESTS TURNING A FUNDAMENTAL FREEDOM INTO A PRIVILEGE GRANTED BY THE STATE We cannot allow this government to create a society where protest is treated as a privilege granted by the state rather than a right held by the people. The right to protest is precious and must be defended. ITS NOT TOO LATE to stop this shocking and shameful attack on our fundamental right to protest. More than 40 civil society groups including the TUC and Greenpeace have joined forces to oppose this draconian crackdown on our right to freedom of expression and assembly - and you can help too by CONTACTING YOUR MP RIGHT NOW - tag them to this film and and ask them to oppose this

While people struggle with extortionate fuel prices, BP boasts of “exceptional” profits driven by conflict This is repugnant profiteering UK Labour Government must crack down on opportunist corporate greed and support those facing the cost-of-living crisis

BP said it expects its huge oil trading desk to post 'exceptional' results for the first quarter as a consequence of the spike in oil prices triggered by the Iran conflict reut.rs/3QoR8a1

The Fabian pamphlet linked within the article is 54 pages long. Yet there's absolutely nothing significant within on the need for @UKLabour to be more progressive in stopping it's ovn attacks on the #disabled & #disability provisions? I thought you guys were supposed to be the #Labour progressives? You cover security, the EU, growth, and data protection in the essay, so given a quarter of the UK population suffer some form of disability, if have thought we meritied some support. Guess not. @liambyrnemp @JeevunSandher @annagelderd @LukeMLabour theguardian.com/politics/2026/…

This attack falls flat on its face because: People know *with certainty* the unfairness they feel under Labour People know *with certainty* that Plaid Cymru won’t pursue an independence referendum in our first term, instead focusing on the NHS and cost of living Roll on 7 May
Jo Stevens@JoStevensLabour

Uncertainty: That is the reality with Plaid Cymru. 👷‍♀️ Uncertainty for jobs 🩺 Uncertainty for our NHS 📉 Uncertainty for our Economy The next @WelshLabour Government will provide stability, with fairness you can feel at the heart of everything they do.

Scotland, Northern Ireland and even London and Manchester have control over policing – but not Wales 🧐 Decisions about the safety of our communities shouldn’t be made in Westminster. Plaid Cymru is the only party fighting for these powers to be brought into Welsh hands.

NEW: Universal Credit rises by £6 per week from today. Unfortunately this increase doesn’t reflect the rising cost of essentials, but nevertheless will be a lifeline for many. Our social security system should always cover the cost of essentials and be based on what things actually cost - that’s why we’re calling for an independent body to set the rate of Universal Credit, just like we do for minimum wage.

I hate how able bodied people go after the chronically ill and disabled who are on benefits. It actually sickens me. I’m a disabled and mentally ill woman. I get £200 a month to live on. I struggle relentlessly to make that last…
