Somehow, with every day that goes past I feel that I'll never get any intimacy again. I think I'm resigning myself - I know I shouldn't, but it's hard to get over the fact most people don't even realise that disabled people are capable of, enjoy, and are experimental when it comes to sex.

@ElizabethMistry It's not bad, in the town centre but I wish that the pubs were accessible. There's only one sole pub in the town centre that has step free access, and it's a Wetherspoons, so I'll be damned if I'm going in there!

Made it out today for the fist time in nearly 2 weeks! Being housebound when you're alone is one of the awful things about living with #disability. Your mind closes in on itself, the isolation exacerbates difficult mental issues (like my depression). If you've a friend who's #disabled & alone, do check in on them. It's easy to feel left behind when you're ignored (even unintentionally). We need human contact as much as the next person, believe me.

@TangoMango9 I'm going to be too fatigued from getting out today, I suspect. I splurged on spoons today!

@timboxall Well done and yes totally agree. It’s horrible when too ill to get out. Going to be warm Wednesday 18th so maybe another outing might be good

@ArtfulExorcism It's been a blessing! Chewie loves it too, it means he ends up with me bringing back treats from the pet shop 😂 My MS means I can have difficulty absorbing vitamin D, so while I take supplements, the sunshine is way better 🙂💜💜

@curiouslast1 To be honest, I'm making up a lot of it as I go along! I had a rough idea of what I wanted to do, but didn't make initial sketches or measurements - just grabbed the drill & prayed 😂

Hell Cycle progress - base frame finished with clay & Foamex board, lighting test fitting to the jaw, and a very rough fitting test. Lots, lots more to do, resin coating the base to give a tar-like texture, adding exhaust outlets, painting bones, before even starting on final construction!
