@BCCI @insider_in_ @Paytm @mansukhmandviya We had 3 tickets for Day-5 India vs NZ 2nd test match.Match was over by Day 3.I expect the amount to be refunded for tickets purchased for Day 5. It is illegit that you can keep ppl's money for Day 5 when there is no game / bowl bowled.

#Pune - Toddler Seriously Injured in Dog Attack in Pune's Chakan Chakan, Pune: In a shocking incident, a four-to-five-year-old child was seriously injured after being attacked by a pack of stray dogs in Kadachiwadi, Chakan. The attack, which was captured on CCTV, has gone viral on social media, raising concerns about the growing menace of stray dogs in the area. The incident occurred while the toddler was walking down the street. In the footage, one dog is seen approaching and pushing the child, followed by another dog that directly attacks the toddler. As the dogs began dragging the child by his diaper, local residents intervened in time to save the child from what could have been a fatal outcome. A woman, hearing the commotion, rushed out of her house to chase the dogs away. Soon after, other citizens joined in and managed to rescue the toddler from the aggressive pack of dogs. This disturbing event has reignited the debate over the rising number of stray dogs in Pune. Many are now calling for stricter measures to control the stray dog population in the city. Meanwhile, authorities have urged parents to be vigilant and supervise their children while they are outdoors.

@nsitharaman LTCG (without indexation) is big dent for middle class folks.Even your faq suggest it is beneficial in most of the cases and not all.You should think to roll it back and don't trouble with more taxes.

Taxation of Capital Gains - Salient Points 👉🏻Holding period has been simplified. There are only two holding periods, for listed securities, it is one year, for all other assets, it is two years. 👉🏻Rate for short-term STT paid listed equity, Equity oriented mutual fund and units of business trust has increased from 15 to 20%. Similarly the rate for these assets for long-term has increased from 10 to 12.5%. However, the exemption limit of 1 lakh for LTCG on these assets has also increased to Rs. 1.25 lakh. 👉🏻The rate for other long-term capital gains on all assets has been rationalized to 12.5% without indexation. This rate was earlier 20% with indexation. This will ease in simplifying the taxation of capital gains and their easy computation. 👉🏻There is no change in roll over benefits already available under the IT Act. Therefore, taxpayers who want to save on LTCG tax even with low rates, can continue to avail the roll over benefits on fulfillment of conditions as applicable. 👉🏻These changes have come immediately i.e. apply from 23.7.2024. 👉🏻The reduction in the rate will benefit all category of assets. The benefit shall however depend on the extent of appreciation of the asset during the holding period. An illustration is given below:

@DrSJaishankar Sir, I have travelled twice in two weeks to Munich Germany and found that immigration folks are very rude to Indians.Guess in some way this has to be conveyed that respect is mutual. Being rude is simply unacceptable.

Reports of rising cruelty towards stray dogs in Pune are causing widespread concern, with a recent incident in Wagholi sparking outrage among residents. A similar incident took place near gate number 4 of Panchsheel Towers in Wagholi around 8 pm on February 20. A black car was speeding near ‘U Villa’ before reaching Panchshil Towers and ran over a sleeping stray dog near the gate. The dog died instantly, and the civic authorities later removed the carcass. In his complaint to the police, dog lover Ashish Gupta alleged that the CCTV footage confirmed the driver’s reckless behaviour. The car owner, who was present during the incident, did not stop or check on the dog afterwards. The CCTV footage capturing the incident at Gate 4 of Panchsheel Towers has been the proof in pursuing justice. Upon learning of the incident, Gupta promptly lodged an online complaint with the Pune police. The Lonikand police took details of the incident from him. Gupta provided the police with the CCTV footage, which vividly depicts the entire episode. Moreover, security personnel stationed at the entrance corroborated the account. Further investigation revealed that the car involved in the incident belongs to a tenant residing in ‘E-Tower’ within Panchshil Towers. A complaint was also lodged with the society’s management committee regarding the matter. However, Gupta mentioned in his complaint that the society did not conduct an independent investigation into the incident. Gupta followed up with the Lonikand police on February 22 to register a formal complaint. However, to his dismay, the police initially declined to file a report or register the incident. It was only after the intervention of a policeman that Gupta was directed to meet officials at the Wagholi police chowky.
