🌵 What not to do as a Governor. Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs started a war with Texas that her constituents disagree with. Hobbs cut off all gasoline imports from Texas refineries, which raised the price of gas in the state by more than 25 cents per gallon. Next, she ended a cattle migration program that allowed ranchers using federal lands to cross onto Arizona state land without a permit or any fees. The cost of beef went up more than a dollar a pound. Add that to her canceling of 14 new oil field drilling projects to give the land to “green energy” companies that don’t plan to develop it until 2032, and you have the trifecta of how not to be a Governor in the southwest.
