Erceg has more outing with 2+ runs allowed than just a single run. It's either a big meltdown (for a closer) or a shutdown. All of this and he has yet to allow a home run this year so far (which is a little ominous...)

Erceg still has added some positive outings for the year (he does have a negative WPA but -0.37 is 161 out of 196 RPs) but his WP lost is 2nd to worst in the league (cumulative stat to be clear). Just for him when it rains, it pours.

Really one of the wildest things in American sports history. He was 22yo on the way to being probably the best player in the league and signed a record extension for the franchise. Will never play again in America.

NEWS: The Cardinals and QB Jacoby Brissett are "significantly" far apart in negotiations to rework the last year of his contract for 2026, a source told ESPN. The gap in the negotiations puts into question whether Brissett, who has yet to report to Arizona's voluntary offseason program, will attend next week's voluntary OTAs, the source said. Wife and I were considering moving (just need more space), even had our agent get us on the MLS and all...but it's brutal for those with COVID era rates. Equivalent houses to ours at the current rates is ~$1,600 more a month (yes different mortgage amounts)

Always funny how the Ravens season always ends up coming down to a game vs the Steelers (typically a heartbreaking loss)

1. Baltimore Ravens A year after not making the playoffs, they are favored in 13-of-16 games and projected to score the 6th-most points. They end the season with a stretch of divisional games against PIT -> CLE - > CIN -> PIT. Likely a lot will be decided late.

@ewieberg I'm pretty sure Fantasy Points Data does have a descriptor of how the QB was moving when throwing (PFF definitely does but not on the public side), but I haven't signed back up yet for my FPD sub

@Shauncore I’d love to see some even deeper data on his deep ball evolution. To my untrained eye, I think his pocket presence has never really recovered after several years of poor OL play. Like, I wonder if there’s data on his accuracy with plant-and-throw footwork vs. shuffling feet?

Article at PFF today looks at Mahomes' evolution so far, how he got a bit more cautious when (rarely) blitzed but changed this past year, how his deep ball accuracy has declined but also how he's gotten more efficient underneath and scrambling

@Shauncore Between the 2.75% rate and 50%ish appreciation on our house, we're stuck too. Brother is looking as a first time homebuyer. I don't know how young ppl but a house rn. We'd downsize and still pay roughly the same.
