Byron Allen was a regular at The Comedy Store back when legends roamed the halls. He became one of the youngest comedians ever to perform on The Tonight Show at a time when that truly meant something. By 14, he was already in writers’ rooms alongside Jay Leno and David Letterman.
He’s also given more young comics their first stand-up appearance on television than almost anyone else in the business. After 50 years working in comedy, it’s fair to say he knows the craft better than most.
