I haven’t posted anything Father Brown for a while, as I’ve not been in work a lot of late. However, in between learning the new play and playing golf, I’ve been enjoying the down time - so it’s not all bad! Thought I’d post this lovely little pic I saw today ❤️

@CptMutant She wasn’t ill. Heatstroke from this weather. She was in the shade but when I went to her she felt roasting and looked asleep. Brought her in to cool down thinking she’d wake up

They will paint the story that it was always the plan, but it wasn't. All the stuff in the house at the end and Ncuti's regen was shot in February 2025. The episode originally filmed in April 2024.

If you're thinking that the regen felt tacked on, that's because it was. As I feared, the reshoots in February retooled the episode to facilitate a regeneration.
