@JeremyIKaufman He’s 35. This may be just it. I mean his offense wasn’t terrible this year. It’s just that he’s really bad now in the field.

@SheaVanHoy Granted he was def playing hurt but he had the worst offensive year in a long time so hopefully it prompts some change from everyone including him

Astros need to find a veteran 4th outfielder. Preferably a left handed hitter to platoon. At this stage of his career Jose Altuve should be playing a lot closer to 120-130 games instead of 150.

@JeremyIKaufman I agree, but I worry the quest for 3000 and the ‘veteran stuff’ will get in the way.

@SheaVanHoy Problem is the Astros had injuries last 2 years so Altuve is forced into the lineup. Clearly detrimental to him now. Need to commit to less games and no 2b anymore.
