We held a very angry branch meeting today where members discussed that not only have our employers failed to respond to our pay claim, but are now also planning further restructures and redundancies. Strike action continues tomorrow - pickets are at 8am-11am! 💪 #Solidarity

A policeman, seen by millions on TV, repeatedly striking a miner with a truncheon at Orgreave is not to face any criminal charges. The announcement came from the Director of Public Prosecutions #OnThisDay 1984.

Solidarity with @TheBMA and resident doctors who begin a week long strike today. Shame on @Keir_Starmer and @wesstreeting who have attempted to shame doctors fighting for a better NHS with more doctors on decent wages. #Solidarity

Today 10,000s of doctors will go out on strike, as they're willing to stand up for their profession against a totally avoidable jobs and pay crisis. Resident doctors need jobs, and when they find those jobs, they need to be paid fairly for it. Striking is a last resort, we just need @wesstreeting to put an offer on the table that we can accept.
