Former Liberal MP Randy Boissonnault & PPC candidate David Yeo both came under fire for running two person companies, as a type of shell company, to get FN specific contracts. These contracts would come with signing bonuses of upwards of 18% for the 2 person companies. David Yeo raked in $1.4 million on Arrivecan, as a signing bonus. In the case of Randy Boissonnault, there was not even a FN co-owner for his two man company. Instead his business partner claimed there was another Randy. FN communities struggle with overcrowded homes & boil water advisories while tens of billions in funding evaporates. Something stinks & it's not just the sewage in the tap water. The Federal government ensured there wouldn't be accountability over how this money is spent. FN grants are being used to launder taxpayer $$$ to government insiders. This is something all opposition parties complained about, but never bothered to pass a Bill to criminalize it, when they were in a position to do so.

Today Conservatives showed up to work for veterans at the Standing Committee on Veterans Affairs, but the Liberals canceled the meeting. Last week as soon as the Liberals had their majority they shut down committees, including improperly adjourning the Veterans Affairs Committee. This week, they are shutting down ACVA by not meeting today and later this week ensuring the meeting is closed to the public without cameras to hide what they plan to do with their new majority. If the past week is any indication, what they plan to do won’t be in the interest of veterans.
