@schrep Also, weather patterns r becoming more irregular, which is something to think abt. Science keeps evolving ,many theories that once looked correct were later revised or even provn wrng with new evidence. So it’s possible we’ll discover completely new forms of energy in the future

@Shekharpant77 My bet is solar and batteries will do the bulk of the lifting in next few years. Solar panels are already dirt cheap and many exciting ideas on making install (most of the cost) for utility scale even cheaper.

Quick math says average American owns/uses ~60x more battery capacity than they did 20 years ago. I bet the same happens for AI compute - huge growth in use per capita over the coming years... cnbc.com/video/2026/07/…

@schrep Agree with u. Solar + batteries r definitely gonna play a big role in the future. But I also think we should keep an eye on the long-term impact. Some places don’t even get enough sunlight for long periods, so depending only on solar may not be practical everywhere.
