Canadians like Fife CANNOT understand & accept that democracy is not optional. You don't switch it on or off to suit your needs. You either stand by it of your don't. Danielle Smith isn't declaring unilateral independence here. She is doing what any true, responsible leader who believes in democracy would do: She is giving the people who put her in power a choice. That is what @RobertFife hates. He likes Canada's invisible caste system just the way it is.
