It took 15 years. It took another 17 years for all 50 states to adopt MLK day as a National Holiday. It only took 34 days before the outright vile, racist Charlie Kirk was given a (yearly) National Day of Remembrance. So, when I say, everything is about race, I dont just willy-nilly say that.
